Nonetheless, I know the hate still swelters in your gut, 88.
As does for me.

For me there is plenty of hate. I hate what the current buffoons have done to a once great rivalry. I hate that once again I have no desire to watch. I hate that we are heading to another Bowless post season. I hate that the unrest is causing the recruiting class to fall apart. I hate that the interim AD who came on TV saying his number one job was to head the search committee for the permanent guy is likely the permanent guy. I hate that the top three or four HC choices will likely tell us to fuck ourselves. I hate the timing of the last few years. I hate that OSU can step on their collective dicks, whack Tress, go through a painful Fickle year only to stumble upon an out of work Urban. If the Michigan job was open that year Meyer could be on the visiting sideline tomorrow...and I hate that. I hate that I had to sit in the cold and rain and watch Maryland come into the Big House and shove us around.
Oh, I still hate OSU. There will never be a time when I root for those bastards. But this year again all I can hope for is to keep the game close....a moral victory...and I hate that most of all.

Do you think they'll go after Les Miles?

Both OSU and UM fans are pining for some return to glory thing that we just aren't likely to see again. The era of scholarship limits was the death blow to Big 2 Little 10. Granted, OSU and UM being good at the same time will definitely happen again, and maybe sooner rather than later, but it won't ever be like it was when Bo and Woody roamed the sidelines. Those guys made the rivalry. Now it's mostly manufactured hatred on OSU's side, and UM's frustrating quest just to become relevant in their own state.

That's actually the hottest rumor, which means it won't happen. The other is that Hackett will stay on for at least a year and a half as interim AD. He was a player while Jack Harbaugh was on the coaching staff, so the "Michigan Man Mafia" is drooling over that possibility. I'm firmly in the "I'll believe it when I see it" camp. If I were to throw out some wild cards that have not been mentioned it would include the Kentucky Stoops and Cutcliff from Duke.

The end of the Gardner era couldn't come soon enough.

Michigan just took the lead at 14-7. That pisses me off. Where the fuck has this passion, play calling and execution been all fucking year? If they played like it's all year the don't lose to Rutgers, Minnie, Maryland and this is a completely different season. If they play like this all year they give ND and Sparty a decent game. This is total bullshit. I mean, I'm glad the kids are up for this game and playing decent and all, but for fuck's sake you gotta bring that shit every Saturday...and that's on Hoke.

Is LLLLLLloyd Carr coaching this OSU d? They're acting like they've never seen a mobile qb before.

I expect Urbs to make proper half time adjustments. Mattison already did by going into the prevent and rushing only three instead of the defense that worked the first 28 mins of the game. Look for OSU to pull away rather quickly.

Sucks that Barrett got hurt. I like that dude. Now it's time to see what Cardale "I ain't here to play school" Jones can do.

Kind of like Terrell "Everybody murders people, kills people, steals from you, steals from me -- whatever" Pryor?

No doubting that Gardner is a good egg...he's just a substandard college QB.
They gave it a decent effort yesterday but even a win shouldn't save Hoke. You can empty the bag for THE Game but why look so inept against a team like Maryland? Hoke understands the culture but isn't a coach on RichRod's level.
