Worst places to visit

LA came in first among tourists polled:

The Most Disappointing Travel Destinations on Earth
From Los Angeles to Dubai, the worst places on the planet.

You’ve dreamt of seeing the pyramids, Venice or Rome for your whole life.

Then you get there and it’s just not what you expected.

We’ve all built up a trip in our minds, only to find it’s not remotely like the brochures.

So to avoid this pitfall, here are your most disappointing destinations on earth, as voted for on Reddit.

1. Los Angeles: ‘The whole city is a lie’

The city of angels? Not so much!

LA was one of the biggest let-downs for holiday-makers.

Travelers expecting Hollywood glitz and glamour were shocked to find what they called a run-down, dangerous and dirty urban sprawl.

Many said it was concrete and “uninteresting,” believing there was little more to it than the tacky Hollywood Boulevard (with homeless people sleeping beside the Walk of Fame).

One of the biggest gripes was the fact that great distances make it impossible to walk around, and that the public transport is poor, making much of the city inaccessible to non-drivers.

BTW, the Pyramids were second, and Paris third.

I'm guessing somebody actually went to the "city" of Los Angeles and not the surrounding beach towns? If so, I would totally agree with it. However, this is a bait thread designed to let you post more stock photos of SFO and then post stock photos of any town or city from anybody that responds to your silly thread, right?

Ummm...you wear granny underwear in a Motel 6, post pics of it ... and live in Fresno.

Life really doesn't get any worse than that...

Pssst... "SFO" is an airport... you fucking dipshit, tranny.

Believe it or not, I haven't lived in Fresno since I was in the 6th grade. Not one time ever after that.

Secondly, I know KSFO is the ICAO designator for SFO... the airport. I was using brevity for your drug-addled brain as I knew your response before you typed it. What do you have now as a response?

What else could your non-Cal graduate brain handle? Not much as you don't have much going for you in life. You are a simple twat that is just smart enough to log in and... post. Good for you!

You posting pics of wearing granny underwear in a Motel 6 is the funniest thing I've ever seen on these boards.

Disturbing.

Yet, hilarious

Paris 3rd?

Must not have been enough water slides or roller coasters.

Can't say I disagree with 1 or 3. Both were big disappointments upon the first visit. Haven't been to 2 yet but it is on my list but I understand the urban sprawl is right there as well as people selling you crap the entire time.

LA is certainly a shithole. Whoever put Paris on the list is a weapons grade fucktard.

I have to agree, Los Angles is not a vacation destination other then going to Didnee Land or a Dodgers Game. Living there, however was a experience and a life style. I lived in West LA but I worked all over that region. It was the best years of my life. Of course I was single, had no kids and making great money. I was like a kid in a candy store!
One thing about LA that I never found anywhere else. What ever you desired, needed or wanted....it was there.

I lived in the Bay Area for ten years and it was a complete shit hole complete with the most shit heads on earth. Were talking about rude fucking shit heads. They are so fucked that 1 in 100 will even make eye contact with you. Shiftless shit heads in a shit hole.

I can't wait for that piece of waste slides off into the ocean

I avoid LA if at all possible. Only been to SF twice and loved it.

Lately, I 've been wanting to see Germany and tour a concentration camp.
Anyone here ever done that?

What the fuck would you want to do that for?!? Take a cruise down the Rhine through the wine country, get drunk and eat incredible food. Your call, I guess.

There is something profound about being in the actual place where that went down.

Nothing says vacation like hitting up the most depressing places.

Because when I get some time to do stuff, I'm looking to maximize the somberness.

Then take in some dogfights... chickens, whatever.

Why don't you just drive over to 10066 Cielo Dr, Beverly Hills, CA?

It's not perverted. I used to avoid the subject because it was too sad. Now that I forced myself to learn more, I'd like to see one. I love history!

My wife wants to see Auschwitz and I don't get it, either.

They left those places up to remind the locals what their precious leaders were doing in the name of Germany.

Is this a good time for the 'jews and pizza' joke?

You've already lost, Milton. You should stick to hawking chimes and draining dicks for a living.
