Didn't see it live, but did see the second half discussion. Assume they called him down? The stil shots don't show where his knee is so can't offer an opinon.

From the replays, we can easily assume the ball broke the plane before the knee went down, but the video never showed both events in the same shot -- call had to stand. Was extremely close.

It was nice that the defenses decided to show up for the second half, since both units were spectators in the first half.

Fournette has put on a show all game. Both offensive lines playing well.

Pretty good game.

That Brian Kelly would be 11-2 or 10-3.

No see a knee, no TD.

And I've been telling y'all all season that LSU sucks. Miles will always be an idiot.

I was at work so I didn't see it live. Looked like he got in when I watched it on tape, but they had to stick with what was called on the field either way. If the line judge signaled a touchdown, there wasn't conclusive evidence to say that he was down. Same thing with not calling it a touchdown. There wasn't conclusive evidence to say he wasn't down.

Thank God ND played a Les Miles coached team. Leonard Fortunette is the closest thing to Herschel Walker I've seen. Mother fucker averaged 13 yards a carry and had a 100 yard kickoff return. Miles gave him the ball 11 times. Yes, the average was helped significantly by his 89 yard run, but even without that the kid was averaging 5 yards a carry. Thank you, Les, for giving 10 carries to split between Kenny Hilliard Terrence Magee.

Should be interesting to see the ND QB race in Brian Kelly's swansong year.

He has some work to do. He tucks it and runs too early. There were two occasions in the late 3rd/early 4th that he had Fuller (#1 option) open for a first down and he chose to run instead of throwing the ball. Kelly did a good job of limiting the amount of mistakes he could make. He took a shot down field with about 2 minutes to go that was in double coverage. As soon as he did, Kelly yanked his ass and put Golson back in who connected on his passes.

Golson is the more talented QB, Zaire the more talented athlete. If Kelly can get Golson to clean up his mistakes, he's a very dangerous QB. But he got lazy and sloppy. Zaire will either give him the push he needs to clean up his mistakes, or he will win the job and ND will (hopefully) adjust the offense accordingly.

LSU's defense may have been sad, but they were also getting their asses kicked by ND's offensive line.
