We have a boudoir. That's a frilly, dainty, happy, spa like bedroom. I'm decorating mine now. My son moved out and it will be my sanctuary.

In the olden days, the woman would sleep in her spacious boudoir and summon her man only as needed. That is my plan.

I tried to get into a woman cave once, but it was too much of a climb.

Cave, or one of these..?

Years ago when my youngest daughter moved out of the house (or as she said at the time was kicked out), I took over her room and it became my den. I had a sofa bed/couch in case of company, but it housed my computer desk, TV, and other guy things. I even had a window AC (for keeping the computer cool don't you know). For a while that daughter came back with us and she was relegated to the guest bed room. When we moved here, I took over bed room #3 and have a similar set up. No garage or car port for me. Fortunately for me, MrsO is somewhat of a minimalist in decorating all the other rooms, even the master suite. No overly frilly crap with little dolls and such lying around.

My man cave would be a scrapbook room. Maybe some shabby floral wallpaper, aqua accents and a crystal chandelier in the middle of the ceiling or the corner. But otherwise I'd put all my sports memorabilia in there too. I'm not that super girly.
