Enjoy your new felonious thug, Sam, and quit running shit about Urban Meyer.

This guy needs to tread lightly, too: http://capstonereport.com/2014/09/23/sh ... ZC0IItu.99

This signing says all I need to know about Nick. Winning means everything. Bama fans should be sad and upset today.

Back in the day Nebraska fans deserved the crap they got for their defense of the prop 48 admissions.

About time we find a new meaning for the A on the side of the Bama helmets.

Seems like the SEC is like DC. When you fuck up and lose your gig, you get promoted.

Never had that ugly A on their helmets. Interesting website where you can check out helmet histories for teams:

I dunno, Killian -- who was worse, Dr. Tom, or Barry?

Erickson was no slouch, either.

Dr Tom has to take the top spot, no? He always acted as if there were no issues while trying to maintain his own persona. Player X can't read and only scored 510 on the SAT, but look he graduated from Nebraska. He seemed as if he didn't care about the damage that statement made to the Nebraska academic brand.

Barry was much more of an aw shucks, boys will be boys, redneck. Hell he carried a gun thru a security checkpoint at DFW back in the day.

When you've got a never-ending wave of blue chippers coming into your program, why take a chance on a known POS like this? Sam spends quite a bit of time in his ivory tower ripping Urban Meyer for this very kind of stuff.

I don't understand those who think playing D-1 football is a right and not a privilege. Nor is it the university's responsibility to be dad.

If you don't make the grades or you can't act like a functioning human, then you don't need to be on a D-1 roster.

It just blows my mind that a kid can get 2nd, 3rd, 4th chances and blow 'em all.

But even worse is a school or an athletic department that repeatedly grants those opportunities.
Just as bad are fans that continue to support such a program. Shameful.

Good God, Sam, are you serious? Your guy is a multiple time offender for domestic violence. Assaulting women. Now look at your links:

The first one is a freshman who got into a fist fight.

The second was a former football player.

The third was a kid on a recruiting visit. Needless to say, they stopped recruiting him.

So take your apples and your oranges, and stuff them up your ass.

Sam, two of your three examples were not UW athletes. The third was a freshman who got into a fist fight. With another guy, not his girlfriend.

We don't all recruit convicted offenders just because they might help our football program.

The SEC is so grossly overrepresented, they should suspend the whole freaking conference for a year.

Michigan State is no slouch, either.

Not sure where this is coming from, but I don't think MSU is any worse than your average program. Things were going smoothly for some time until backup RB Delton Williams got arrested a few weeks ago for a "road rage" incident on campus. And around the same time one of the starting WRs got liquored up and kicked a parked vehicle. If they want to compete with the big boys, they really need to up their game from bone headed college kid stuff to sexual assault.

When I go to the Oregon listings from Arrestnation, it's nice to see very, very few Duck football players, and most of them are pretty minor stuff.

Pretty much have to scroll past the entire basketball roster to see any football players.

And that pretty much sums things up.

A lot of these kids aren't students in any way, shape or form.

For a lot of them seeing a college campus is akin to waking up in Oz.

They don't know how to act, they can't escape their thuggish past, etc.

So why are we rewarding coaches for recruiting them at all? Playing college football should be an honor, not a right. You can't be a good citizen and get a C average, then there is a D-3 or Jr college with your name on it.

It's not naive.

I understand the coaches for the most part can't control themselves so we will need the NCAA or P5 conferences to do it. Have certain convictions? You are not eligible to play D-1 ball, period.

Another one:

He is the fourth Alabama player to be arrested this spring.

Bama wants that Fulmer Cup real bad...
