What a lovely day for a parade!

Post by smackaholic »

The fukking morons that run Boston have decided to go ahead with a parade downtown today, despite the fact there is absolutely no place for people to stand after 4+ ft of snow over the last week.

I was downtown on sunday, before they got another ft. It is ridiculous. 8 ft snow banks where the sidewalks used to be.

WTF?

And mayor marty walsh, a particularly braindead politician said, fukk it, lets do it anyway. Just remember, don't stand on the snowbanks.

Are they supposed to levitate?

Beantown is not manhattan. You don't have mile wide avenues where you could just give up a few lanes. You have narrow streets, narrow sidewalks....and buildings. Period.
Fukk it, i guess all the chowds stupid enough to try to get downtown can just walk in the street and be part of the parade. Last night, I was listening to local talk show dude, Howie Carr rant on about how the city is para;yzed at the momment due to an army of front end loaders and dump trucks trying to get rid of it. Oh well, it's not like the city or state is in debt. I am sure all the city road dept dudes appreciate the OT.

They should pass out snow shovels to parade goers and kill two birds with one snow removal.

The problem is, WTF do you do with that shovel full of snow? Hop on the T and take it out to Newton? They won't want it there, either.

If they had half a fukking brain, they'd put it off to St Paddy's day. The snow should be gone and they'd have two reasons to get hammered.

Have the parade in their hometown of Foxborough.

We are talking about the town that gave a parade for Cam Neely's Stanley Cup win... with Colorado.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

All that snow is mostly air. Can't they just deflate it?

Whatever. Its hockey. The point is, they gave a guy a parade for winning a cup with another city.
