Blew it out of the water today in Screwy D.C.
Unfortunately,
This is our leader...

Unreal...
Between the two... who would you rather have running our country ?

We already run this country, you silly goose. The State wrote:.. who would you rather have running our country ?
Slow night?88 wrote:I watched his entire speech late last night.
Whatever the content of his speech, it was the wrong time and the wrong place. It's pretty unseemly of Congress to give a foreign leader a pulpit for what was essentially a campaign speech meant for consumption by his own electorate. But it did serve the Republicans' political agenda, so there's that.88 wrote:I watched his entire speech late last night. I don't get the outrage by Pelosi and the Dems. Netanyahu disagrees with Obama's strategy for dealing with Iran, and gave the reasons why and charted a path for a different solution. But he was polite and respectful, and went out of his way to ensure that the American public heard that Israel regards Obama as a helpful ally on most other matters. What did Netanyahu say that justified the Dem's meltdown yesterday?

Does Nancy Pelosi or some other college girl have a troll in here?
And you know this...how?Sudden Sam wrote:I don't agree with every aspect of our longstanding relationship with Israel.
However, in this case, Israel is under the gun. I'm shocked they've restrained themselves as long as they have. We all know Iran is developing a nuclear weapon. We all know Iran has threatened to remove Israel from the planet. Israel will soon have to attack the Arak facility and other sites.
And what can be done that's "concrete" short of blasting the fuck out of Iran's facilities?Sudden Sam wrote:
Unless something concrete is done...and done soon...Israel may be forced to blast the fuck out of Iran's facilities and potentially ignite more war in the region. This administration is dragging its feet and showing nothing but weakness in the eyes of both Israel and Iran.
And yet this is the submoronic cretin you and the other residents of Faghdad by the Bay send to Congress every two years.“I was near tears throughout the Prime Minister’s speech — saddened by the insult to the intelligence of the United States as part of the P5 +1 nations, and saddened by the condescension toward our knowledge of the threat posed by Iran and our broader commitment to preventing nuclear proliferation.”

Saudi Arabia: Columnist Stands with Netanyahu, Slams Obama
A look at Saudi Arabia's news media shows that the Persian Gulf monarchy stands squarely behind Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's efforts Tuesday in Congress.
In an article in Monday's edition of the Saudi daily Al-Jazirah (no relation to the Qatar-based television network), columnist Dr. Ahmad Al-Faraj comes out strongly against U.S. President Barack Obama. "I believe that Netanyahu's conduct will serve our interests, the people of the Gulf," he writes, "much more than the foolish behavior of one of the worst American presidents."
The article was translated and disseminated to Western media by MEMRI, the Washington-based Middle East Media Research Institute.
Al-Faraj writes that Obama is working to sign a deal with Iran at the expense of America's longtime allies in the Gulf, and that Netanyahu's campaign against the deal is therefore justified and serves the interests of the Gulf states.
Or this..."The person who has caused the greatest strategic damage to Israel on the Iranian issue is the prime minister," argues Meir Dagan, former head of Mossad, Israel's top intelligence agency. Dagan has become one of Netanyahu's more outspoken critics from within Israel's security establishment. The ex-spy chief is no dove, but in comments Friday, he insisted that Netanyahu was alienating his country's most important ally at exactly the wrong time.
Dagan's argument was echoed over the weekend by a group of almost 200 retired Israeli generals and security officials, known as the Commanders for Israel's Security.
"The American people see the rift between Israel and the U.S. administration. The Israeli public sees it, and, more importantly, the mullahs in Iran see it," said Amiram Levin, a former deputy chief of Mossad, at a news conference. "Iran wants Netanyahu’s speech. They understand that it will weaken Israel’s bipartisan bond with the United States."
Rather than slowing down Iran’s nuclear project, the former security officials said, Netanyahu’s speech on Tuesday will bring the Islamic republic closer to developing a nuclear bomb.
“When the Israeli prime minister argues that his speech will stop Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, he is not only misleading Israel — he is strengthening Iran,” Amnon Reshef, former head of the army’s armored corps, said at a news conference on Sunday.
Reshef is a founder of Commanders for Israel’s Security, an organization of 200 retired and reserve senior officers from the Israel Defense Forces, the Mossad secret service, the Shin Bet domestic security agency and the national police force.

Yeah. The consequences of a regime like Iran's going nuclear and the ramifications it would present should only be presented to the masses once proper etiquette is in place.Mikey wrote: Whatever the content of his speech, it was the wrong time and the wrong place.

So, what's your solution?88 wrote:All I can say is this... Those history revisionists, who will want to paint Obama as the greatest president since Kennedy (cough), will have a more difficult time doing so if a mushroom cloud should happen to appear anywhere in the Middle East in the next 10-15 years, as has been predicted by Netanyahu. On second thought, Netanyahu also guaranteed that if the US won't strike a better deal, Israel will strike. So I guess Barry has that going for him.
Amazing? More like REFRESHING - to hear a LEADER bluntly and without politically correct bullshit nuance tell it like it is. Taking the lead from hysterical shebitch Pelosi, the WH groids are telling us to go with their "deal" with iran and THEN we can evaluate it after it is signed. My bad, average was a bad choice of words. Ok so you can't, and never will be able to, make it around the course in the number of strokes that the course is designed to be played in and yet you still try. Is there any other sport-like activity where that holds true.Dinsdale wrote:Incorrect.Moving Sale wrote:I find it amazing that people who have never shot par still golf. The average score for an amateur golfer is 100.
I can be so drunk I forget which club is which, and still crack 100.
What went wrong in your brain that you equated "par" with "average"?
In fact, at the Honda Classic last weekend, the very best players in the world didn't average a par score... dumbass.

Should push ever come to shove it wouldn't have to be anything so drastic.Mikey wrote: So, what's your solution?
Send 100,000 or so troops to the Middle East to fight a pre-emptive war without raising any taxes to pay for it?
That worked out well last time, didn't it?
Go ahead and nuke them right now?
That would push your mushroom cloud up 10-15 years but wouldn't look so good on anybody's legacy.
Nothing?
Wow. Now you are melting like a woman. I'm guessing your he-wife wears the pants in your family. She probably has a butch haircut and hairy legs. Seriously Trev, you wouldn't know a real man if he gakked in your face.
If your husband had any balls he'd take away your computer and not let you out in public. What an embarrassment you must be to your family and whatever friends you have left.
