The Oregon Legislature (who's giving Illinois a run for "most corrupt state government" these days) just passed, and the new Dyke In Chief signed (since it was her idea to start with) the Motor Voter Registration bill. If you make any transaction at the DMV, they automatically register you.

The proponents say it will further remove "barriers" to voting (whatever those were, no one actually said). Seems to me that a person was leaving their house, and going to do some business at the DMV. Man, if only there was a place they could go register while they were out doing that same errand, it would have been easy in the first place. Let me think here... darn, where can a person register while they're out running around to the DMV?

WAIT! I thought of it. They actually do have a place like that, in proximity to the DMV... it's called the DMV.

See, so now the bastards will compel me to opt-out (I guess that's an option) the next time I visit the Office Of Endless Frustration.
