I was wondering if you or PW knew of him. He recorded on the Vent label, I bought one of their samplers which had the above song. I have samplers from Alligator, Blind Pig, & Rounder also. A good way to find bands who would be unlikely to be heard even on Bluesville. The samplers are quite good since they mix it up a bit, and can be had cheap on Amazon or ebay, I have Alligators 40th year collection (2 disk, $10 shipped new) , Blind Pigs 25th (2 disk, $4 shipped used), along with the samplers from Vent & Rounder around ($5 ea shipped used). Good stuff. :)
