Last night saw this old geezer at the Stoughton Opera House with one of my old college roommates and the womenfolk. The first set was just over an hour. Second set was an hour and 20 minutes. For $25 American.

Next Thursday at the Barrymore Theater, I'll be seeing Dinsdale's homeboy. He must like playing around here because this has gotta be his third time in the last 12 months, and I'll have seen all of them. College roomie will be tagging along, as will #1 son.

College roomie wants me to join him and his girlfriend the very next night at the High Noon Saloon. I'd never heard of this guy. Good songwriter, but will have seen enough of college roomie by that point.

Never heard of any of them. Not all that much of a folk music guy, but liked them all, with maybe Snider the most. Have fun Goobs.

I saw an acoustic Hot Tuna show 6 or 8 years ago.

Goober, Sam is right about McMurtry. Dude has been around for a while now and he's always been solid. Love his two early albums "Candyland" and "Too Long in the Wasteland". You'll enjoy a good show.

I saw Hot Tuna at the Further Festival the year after Jerry died. I would issue again. Also saw John Wesley Harding , Los Lobos , Bruce Hornsby, The Flying Karamazov Brothers, Mickey Hart's Mystery Box and Rat Dog. Cool show.

Saw Hot Tuna about three years ago at Anthology in San Diego.
Great performance. Best music venue in San Diego, or maybe anywhere. Too bad is closed at the end of 2012. I keep hearing rumors that it will re-open but nothing seems to come of it.

Heard Jorma Kaukonen on Bluesville this morning when he played with Hot Tuna. I love Sirius. Jorma would make for a very good show no doubt.
