I once went to a tow lot to get my pick up truck. As soon as I arrived a police office drove up and told me freeze & put my hands up. I looked over saw a pistol pointed at me and did as told. Turns out someone had just been there threatening the employees with a pistol to release his car. Tow companies and bondsmen have to deal with physical & verbal encounters on a regular basis, hence the cameras at the tow yard.
