What cell carrier do you use
I've been with Verizon for about 11 years and until about a couple of years ago I've been pretty happy with them. The reason I went with them in the first place was the coverage was second to none. That's important went you travel a lot.
About a year ago my data went through the roof and I was being charge for usage even though my battery was out as well as the sim card. It literally took me six months to get them to admit that my account had been hacked and they refunded me over $300 for over charges.
There is more drama, but I'm looking at changing carriers and don't really care about the traveling as much anymore.

I had T-Mobile for over 10 years, Sprint now.
They all over-charge and can go fuck themselves. What a racket.

Cricket. $40 a month ($35 if you use auto-pay), unlimited talk, text, and data. After 2.5 gigs of data, it throttles down, but I don't use that much. Uses the ATT network, so coverage is good in most places.
I got 99 problems but the 'vid ain't one

At first I had Sprint at around $40 a month. My data was hacked twice, but they ate the charges. I so seldom use one, I went to a Trac Phone a couple years ago at about $100 a year flat rate for me. Does all I need to do.

Re: What cell carrier do you use
What was amazing to me when my cell phone was hacked is that they even changed my security question answers. I had calls made to Jamaica, etc. to the tune of around $800. Asked #1 son, the computer whiz who does cyber security for a living, about it. He said it was not all that difficult when the company has crappy security measures.

It's pretty easy to hack cell phones. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.

Re: What cell carrier do you use
like I said, I got a text from what appeared to be somebody with verizon with an active link on the text, when I opened the active link it took me to a page that looked a lot like a verizon page but everything was inactive.....all they needed me to do was to press the link and they got the info they needed....MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:Jesus, what are all of you clowns doing to get your phones "hacked?"

Had a trac phone. Now use company iPhone with AT&T coverage. Works pretty well most places other than my fuking house. Works good out on the deck though.

We use Verizon. Pretty decent coverage around the country and their international rates are good and they allow us to turn international on and off unlimited times and make that process very easy.
We dont have a land line at the house. At the office only the main numer is land based. Everyone else works off of cell phones as well.
