Better barren down the hatches U&Lers

Dins, dago, you better get the fuk out while you still can. Maybe buy some land 100 miles or so west and hope you become the new beachfront.

I just have a few questions.

What will the world's micro brew fans will do when all the good ones, allegedly, get flushed into the pacific? Might be a good time to invest in the 3 good micros on the planet that are outside Portland.

Is the Rolloff place close enough to get hit? I have had to put up with those midgets on my TV screen for years. Fuggen OL has some sort of facination with them. They are in Hillsburito. I seem to recall it was a fair bit inland. Hell, maybe their little midget farm will end up on the beach.

Would it be a good idea to "short" PBR stock? Seeing as roughly 97% of the nations hipster population will be gone, their sales will drop through the floor.

Been nice knowing you dudes. Good luck. Hopefully it will happen when Dins is on his roadie. He's good peeps.

This earthquake which may disturb our southern neighbors, is no more severe than the average U&L winter.

Barrening down the hatches here...

We're right in that last little dry area NE of Oceanside. Not for long though.

The drought is not over, BTW...

San Diego broke its all-time July rainfall record Saturday when 1.03 inches fell. That broke not only the July single-day record of 0.83 inches set July 25, 1902, but also the record for an entire July's rainfall, which was 0.92 inches July 1-31, 1902.

It's also more rain than San Diego saw in all of January this year; on average, January is the second-wettest month and July the second-driest, with January averaging 66 times more rainfall than July. The only other time July has out-dampened January in San Diego was 1976, when July had 0.02 inch to January's trace.

San Diego added to its total Sunday with another 0.46 inch of rain in two hours. The month-to-date total of 1.49 inches, which fell in less than 36 hours, is more rainfall than San Diego had seen in the previous 77 Julys combined.

PS...it was 90 degrees here today too. Might as well move in with Wolfman for the summer.

Stepped outside this morning at about 10:00 a.m. to check the tomatoes and do a turn around the yard. It was already 85 deg and must have been 80-90% RH. Was dripping sweat within a minute so I came back in, closed the windows and turned on the AC. Been sitting in front of a fan since.

Pretty sure at least DiS would stay in Seattle anyway, at least as long as the Seahawks are bandwagonable and the cages don't run him off the road.

I'm fairly certain that the 2000' mountains are high enough to stop a 90' wave.

The big earthquake will buttfuck Portland in the mouth, since much of it is built on landfill (dredged the rivers way back when, used the silt to level the place out), but it's way too far upstream for a tsunami to do much (although the right weather and tides could make it an issue).

They've been threatening us with this forever, and it will happen someday. But not today... and if it does, then good luck Homies... since I'm in Texas.

On a positive note, such a quake and the resulting tsunami would obliterate Chambers Bay.

Uh, you realize that Tacoma is about a buhzillion navigation miles from the ocean, right. And around a curve or two, to boot.

In short, I doubt Chambers Bay would even get watered.

Yeah, but it will be beachfront after a nice chunk of the U&L breaks off and heads for Japan.

When the last one hit on 1/26/1700, which was an estimated 9.6, a few pieces broke off.

But I'm sure we'll lose hundreds of miles next time.

That tsunami will blow straight up Puget Sound. Tacoma = Atlantis.

As much as I wish that were true, since Taroma is easily the nastiest place in the entire U&L, that's not actually how it works.

Hell yeah..bring down more government on the legal citizens, and let the other 35% or so of those fence jumping dope dealing tennis shoes thieving cock sucking Mexicans, other LA's, Bosnian, Russian, Chinese, and Missouri hillbilly fucks keep sucking the dollars out of the economy.

Administrating another government tax...no cost there at all. Brilliant idea. Just another shell game.
