If there is any truth to that the Big11 settled for the fat girl in the corner. Rutgers and Under Armor U instead of OU and AtM? Talk about plan F, G and H.

Strangely enough I continue to hear similar talk from respected sources. AtM is not part of the discussion but USC, UCLA, AZ, AZ St, OU, Texas, and Okie Lite keep getting grouped together.

That group could then cherry pick if they so chose.

Yet the B1G will still be thriving after the Big 12 dissolves. Hell, even with a motto of "one true champion" they still couldn't figure out who their champ was.

No doubt that was a huge mistake. Someone should have been fired when they had that marketing tag line but had co champs.

The Big 12 is all but done, unless Nebraska comes back.

What exactly do they bring that would "save" the conference?

Although the  factor alone might be worth it. Some would blow a gasket and curse the admin of the school, others would spin it that they were somehow getting over, but either way it would make for good theater.

Not a snowman's chance in hell.... the Big 12 can't even get a conference champion to be a factor in the playoff. Oh... and that Tejas thing....

That Tejas thing is what gave Nebraska a chance when the Texas pipeline of recruits kept feeding Nebraska's roster. Nebraska was consistently ranked in the top 25 in recruiting when they were in the Big 12, but now they can't even crack the top 30.

Nebraska will have 13 Texicans on roster this fall.
In 1995, Nebraska's best team ever, they had 7.

NU averaged 11.6 Texas players from 1996 till 2011. (Big 12 years)
Since joining the B1G they've averaged 15.2 Texas players a year.

Next?
