A lot of people are like that, they're usually the ones who don't listen to music as much and think what is good & cool is what they listened to as a teen. While there is some music I still enjoy that I listened to as a youngin', much of what I listen to now, I wasn't listening to then. The same can be said of food, drink, clothes, many things.

Its funny how music seems to be that way more than other things, probably because most people are "too busy" to listen to new stuff, so can it take on more of a background aspect as a person ages.

Edit: The Bottle Rockets are the type of band I listen to live at the local watering hole. Not too crowded, no teen club bs, and they actually play instruments/music & can sing.

I despise FM classic rock stations for playing the same old shit over & over. I listen to alternative or indie radio stations instead 75% of the time.
