That your comments on the Facebooks will live on forever? Yet another post has cost someone a job. This time it was the stadium announcer for Husker football. The day after dude was hired the school fired him over a previous post critical of the firing of Bo P.

Uhh, Nebraska maybe next time look at the Facebooks posts prior to making the hiring announcement. But does that really surprise you coming from the NU Athletic department?

Oh, and the reason they needed a stadium announcer is because the guy who previously held the job was stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from two elderly women.

I will never understand why so many of the population want to ensure their stupid comments live on forever.

One hallmark of being an "adult" is knowing what you say online can haunt you, so exercise some self-restraint in the Facebooks. Also, another hallmark of adult Facebooks usage is restricting who can see what you post. It's amazing how many people actually allow the entire world to see what they post. Genius.

I guess this is really nothing more than social online Darwinism. Oh yeah, and Lincoln is full of morons.
