You are a complete embarrassment to anyone who has coached or played the game.
Of course you don't know jack shit about what you speak.

What do you know about this game? Any fouls the umpire called or passed on calling? Know any of the history? Share it or shut your ignorant cake eater.
Did you know the coach has apologized, so has the AD, and so has the school district and the superintendent? Did you know the players are going to be arrested on Tuesday for assault?
Of course you didn't.
Pretty rich coming from you talking about not being biased.

I only wish Schmickety would be clobbered from the blindside by one of his players someday. Wouldn't that be rich?
That player deserves to be arrested at the minimum and hopefully charged with a felony.

Many of us wanted to hit a ref out of frustration during a football game. However, actually doing it would be stupid. You have to focus on playing better and keeping a mental focus and discipline, and not worry about the refs. Not sure if schmick is keeping in a trolling character or really thinks it's okay to do something like that.

The state association of officials and the governing my body of athletic and academic competitions in the state is now involved.
The fact that two players attacked him leads to a conclusion of premeditated assault.

If only one player hit a ref, then that kid lost his composure. Two kids doing it, says it's premeditated or a sent in play by a coach.

Update.
Both players have been suspended from school and have been permanently removed from the team.
A few social media posts claim the official made racist remarks to the players prior to the assault. One of the posters claimed to have been at the game and heard the comments. This was quickly dismissed as there would be almost no way someone in the stands could hear a conversation on the field. Further the same poster was also posting on Friday night from an event 85 miles away and the first post on the football game was 12 hours after the assault.
The coach was asked about racist comments from the umpire and he said he was unaware of any comments by the official prior to the assault.

Even if there were some kind of racist remarks, that doesn't make it open season on the official. He should be reported to the league and let them take care of it. The players have absolutely no place taking things into their own hands. This is a criminal assault. Schmick is either trolling or is more of a complete idiot even than previously thought. I'll take #2.

Yup he is in character.
Internet tough guy. He hasn't been wrong once in his life and he knows nothing about personal responsibility. Nothing was ever his fault or his team's fault.
If he wasn't trolling I would truly feel sorry for him.

Yup he is in character. Only Schmick would withhold judgement on premeditated assault.

Tuesday Update:
School District had a presser today. Said the students are off the football team and suspended from school indefinitely. The person at the mic said they have a duty to investigate the allegations of racist comments alleged by a player and a student against the official. Guy said he would find it very hard to believe, but they would investigate.
The biggest piece of news is it turns out Schmick was an assistant coach for this team. The Defensive Backs coach has been placed on administrative leave due to the allegation that he said the following on the sideline, "That guy needs to pay for that horseshit call, someone should get him." The school district said if it turns out that he said such words he will lose his job immediately.
In the aftermath of the attack on the field the officials ended up tossing two players from the game. Turns out one of the ones tossed was not one who attacked the official. But since the officials on the field wouldn't be looking at the umpire, no one else saw anything but the aftermath. The school district said they will appeal to the governing body of sports in the state to get the player incorrectly tossed reinstated for this weeks game. (The officials association is supporting this as well.) In Texas if you get tossed from a game, you have to sit out the next one as well.
Contrary to what Schmick claimed, the criminal who stayed in the game after the incorrect player was tossed instead, wasn't just looking to hurt officials. On the last play of the game when the opponent was taking a knee for a second time, he shot thru the line and speared the QB who was on his knee. This almost lead to the all out brawl that he likely wanted to start. Props to the opponents and their coaches who immediately left the field.

That prick should be charged with two felony assaults.
