Looks like those treacherous bastards at NASA are up to their old tricks. Poptart and I will get to the bottom of this. You can BANK on that. I just need to wait for someone to make a YouTube video from their basement so I can paste the link here.

If they really found water on Mars how come they haven't started bringing it to California?

Give it up. Mars isn't round either.

Oh sure, they can discover water on Mars...but is it completely out of the realm of possibility that a cure for Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease may be found?

Shouldn't be that tough to get water from Mars to CA, Mikey. By my calculation, Mars is roughly 120 miles above Earth.

Well, anything to alleviate the suffering of thousands...hundreds...dozens...three people.

Together, we can find a cure.

I wonder if there's a duty-free shop at the border of the Firmament. I'll bet customs are real assholes.

I doubt we'll ever know. You can't get a non-stop flight there and even if you could there's that pesky multinational agreement forbidding travel to it. It's closed, doug.

Bowing and genuflecting and giving up all free will and thought also help.

You guys are morons... bringing water to California from Mars?

Seriously, you dumbfucks?

Wouldn't it be much easier to just poke a hole in the roof of the Firmament directly over California? It is stationary, you know.

If only it was that easy. We're talking FIRMament here. It's uhhh, pretty fukking firm. Doubt we have a drill up to the job. Besides, that is pretty much the bottom of the big G's pool. He prolly wouldn't take kindly to it. I mean look what he did over failure to follow dietary rules. Better to just keep stealing water from the rest of the west than bring on the Smitefest.

Well Shell is moving all those rigs down from Alaska. Maybe they could just flip them over and drill upwards. I'm sure the firmament isn't too much firmer than the Arctic bedrock.

Did we ever get a ruling whether the waters above the Firmament are salt or fresh?

This one time, the Firmament sprung a leak. Took those halo-wearing little fuckers forty days and 40 nights to fix it.

Flowing? They make it out to be like a veritable Niagara Falls. Not. They figured out a long time ago that there is ice at the poles in winter and guess what happens when it warms up in the Martian summer (such as it is)? Until a human being actually goes there, we're speculating about it all. Sadly I will not live long enough to find out.

Let's run down a rabbit trail, shall we? NASA actually had this information several months ago but chose to sit on it in collusion with Hollywood so as to promote Ridley Scott's movie, The Martian starring Matt Damon. This is a byproduct of the Left's influence on the government in ways previously unseen before, where "science" takes a back seat to a political agenda. Yes, this is relatively meaningless in the big scheme of things, but it demonstrates how what is supposed to be independent (science) can be co-opted to produce interest and money in a spurious and unscientific political goal (anthropomorphic climate change). It fits in with NOAA and NASA altering weather data to produce results that are pleasing to the Obama administration for the advancement of their environmental agenda.

Hey, I already said it is largely meaningless in the large scheme of things, but seriously, since when is an expensive government agency the marketing and advertising agency for Fox movie studios? It's not a far stretch to some day see, say, the State Department withhold critical information for, say, a hypothetical presidential candidate to influence the outcome of, say, a congressional investigation of maybe a dead ambassador and the national election?

a typical sunny day on mars can get up to a balmy 70 degrees. A typical dark night can get down to over 190 below zero. Any flowing won't last very long.

How dare you Papa, calling out Mars for being a flat, floating pie.

That's very pastryist of you. You know damn good and well it's simply a paper cut-out that God hung in the Firmament like a blood red ornament.

Guess that makes it a firmornament.
