Buckmonkey only got 6 picks right.
He'd be tied with me at 31.Atomic Punk wrote:Goobs has a good point about reversing his picks every week. He would probably be in 1st place as he says. Go with the George Costanza mode.
Go back and do the math. Goods would have 41.Mikey wrote:He'd be tied with me at 31.Atomic Punk wrote:Goobs has a good point about reversing his picks every week. He would probably be in 1st place as he says. Go with the George Costanza mode.

Average score after six weeks is 29.1, less than 50%.Atomic Punk wrote:Go back and do the math. I hear people are making $millions on DraftKings.Atomic Punk wrote:^^^ that's why nobody should bet money on point spreads. It's evidence why organized gambling books ultimately win.
I'm listening to Fox Sports Radio right now, and they are saying a lot of Draft Kings employees were betting on their own site until it came out recently. Now apparently they no longer can. They and Fan Duel that are unregulated took in over $43 mil last weekend alone on bets.Mikey wrote:I hear people are making $millions on DraftKings.Atomic Punk wrote:^^^ that's why nobody should bet money on point spreads. Yeah, I know that. Plus, we don't bet with money. How good of you to point that out. Awe inspiring insight there. Yes, it's fun to do this because it gives you interest in watching games you couldn't care less about. It's just fun to do.Dinsdale wrote: 2 things:
First, sportsbooks don't work like our awesome game here. You aren't compelled to pick any certain game, and you aren't compelled to pick 10 games. Apples/oranges.
Now that is probably true, and I'm sure you know this as fact as with everything like cliff heights in northern Michigan. And if I understand the Draft Kings/Fan Duel thing, employees were betting on the other site -- betting on their own was strictly forbidden. But they still kindasorta had inside info.
Yeah, it was only on the national news after all.Atomic Punk wrote:Now that is probably true, and I'm sure you know this as fact as with everything like cliff heights in northern Michigan.Dinsdale wrote: And if I understand the Draft Kings/Fan Duel thing, employees were betting on the other site -- betting on their own was strictly forbidden.
