Yeah, us FBS fans bitch about "Alabama cheats," USC cheats,"etc, ad nauseam.
And FBS is nothing compared to what goes on in non-scholarship D3.
At the beginning of each season, one of about 3 teams (maybe a couple of other cheaters in the mix here and there) is going to win the championship -- Mt Union, Whitewater, or Linfield (Oshkosh broke up those teams' long streak).
And I'm still yet to go to a Linfield game, even though my good sports-watching buddy lives right up the street.
Pierre Garcon was a Mt Union guy, IIRC.

That is one hell of a streak. I have always wondered how a top 6A HS team from say Texas, Florida or Cali would do against them. Pretty sure the HS team would have the size advantage.

Seriously? Here's Whitewater's two-deep for this Saturday:

Speaking of streaks that D1 can't touch (like 100 straight wins), Linfield is on their way to their 60th consecutive winning season -- by far the all-division CFB record.
In a shocking turn of events, the D3 rankings look like this:
1 Mount Union (19) 6-0 619 1
2 Linfield (6) 5-0 598 2
3 Mary Hardin-Baylor 6-0 572 3
4 Wesley 6-0 543 4
5 UW-Oshkosh 5-1 493 5
6 UW-Whitewater 5-1 485 6
7 St. Thomas 6-0 467 9
8 Wheaton (Ill.) 6-0 460 7
9 Wabash 6-0 443 10
10 Johns Hopkins 6-0 390 11
11 Thomas More 7-0 384 12
12 UW-Platteville 5-1 332 13
13 St. John's 5-1 322 14
14 Hardin-Simmons 6-0 307 15
15 Washington and Jefferson 5-1 239 16
16 North Central (Ill.) 4-2 228 17
17 Concordia-Moorhead 6-1 167 19
18 John Carroll 5-1 160 18
19 Illinois Wesleyan 6-0 149 20
20 Albright 6-0 120 21
21 Rowan 5-1 102 22
22 Wartburg 5-1 95 8
23 Salisbury 4-1 91 23
24 Texas Lutheran 5-1 88 25
25 Whitworth 6-0 46
You can pretty much write them before the season starts. The top 6 have been the top 6 pretty much every week for the last 15+ years. Odd, since there's 239 D3 teams.

They would get absolutely destroyed.

I don't doubt the HS team would lose but I could see it being 10 points or so.
After looking thru the Mt Union roster and the 2 deep Goobs posted I am sure the HS team would have the size advantage. Would probably have the speed advantage at the skill positions as well.
What clearly gives Union the edge is 22 year olds vs 17 year olds.

The interesting thing, to me at least, is that there always seems to be at least one other Ohio Athletic Conference team that is very good every year. But they just cannot beat Mount Union. This year, it is John Carroll. Mount Union has won the OAC every year from 1992 forward.
When I first saw your embedded quote I thought #18 John Carroll seems like a pretty small QB.

Who knew Moving Sale was a college QB.
