Democrats have relinquished any moral authority they had

The sorry state of the one of two the major political parties has risen to new depths in recent days. The Democratic Party has ceded all high ground on issues of fairness, compassion, and concern for their fellow man and has shown this in a fashion which underscores just how craven and rotten their moral fiber has grown. In recent days we've seen the three candidates for the office of President refuse to call their enemy what they themselves call themselves, they have piddled on themselves while pandering to BLM in a transparent effort to earn their endorsement, and have praised their party's boss' racist, socialist, and ill concealed efforts to hollow out the country which elected him to it's highest office. Supporting this sea change is nearly all of our highest educational institutions, nearly all of the media, and a significant majority of its' party members. Even on this board we see those who cheer the wholesale destruction of what once made this nation unique among all others (sup Moving Sale?).
Evidence of this is shown in the now-dead candidacy of a Minnesota state rep who showed empathy for ISIS:

A universal refusal to call our enemy what they are:

A President who still believes his policies are correct and effective:

And the new darlings of the Left having no compassion for anyone but themselves:

All of this makes me wonder if there are any who remain to occupy the center-left of the Democratic party. I see no evidence of it, all indications point to an increasingly shrill radical Left intent on finally imposing its' doctrine of Marxist/Socialist/Communist philosophy on the rank and file member. Even Jim Webb, who forty years ago would have been dead center of the political spectrum is bewildered by this hard shift to the left. Say what you will about white bread, Big Money, Corporatist Republicans, they are unabashedly for what at least used to be universally understood as American. I have to think that this election is going to be a landslide for the right where huge numbers of quiet traditional Democrats vote Republican.
