No way this "firing" wasn't deliberately timed.
that's what Oklahoma fans used to say. losing changes a lot of minds. not just that, about the half the HS teams in Texas run popgun spread offenses. UT has been pretty weak at QB and especially RB for a while now. Colt McCoy was about as popgun as you get.Sudden Sam wrote:He doesn't seem like the guy Texas would want. Can't see the Longhorns running that popgun offense.
I hope not. Besides, they'd hire Herman before they would hire Kelly.King Crimson wrote:decent chance Texas job is open in a year, too.
no shit....his offense centers around a running gunning quarterback and that doesn't translate in the NFL where defenses are looking to decapitate a starting QB.....the only QB that's been successful at it is Cam Newton and he doesn't run anywhere close to as much as he ran in college.....on the other hand, look at Colin Kaepernick...that guy will be lucky if he's dragging a clipboard around with him next year.....Papa Willie wrote:Well - he says he wants to stay in the NFL. Once he figures out that nobody wants him there, he'll have no choice but to take a step back.
Noggernick has very similar numbers to Newton.Felix wrote:on the other hand, look at Colin Kaepernick...that guy will be lucky if he's dragging a clipboard around with him next year.....

Probably on a fat black cock.mvscal wrote:Chip Kelly Lands...Where?
