Donald Trump is no George Wallace
Trump trumpets poll numbers until those very same polls turn against him. Then he doesn't trust them, they are liars. Let me know when he runs as an (I), wins 5 states and garners 10 million votes. In the meantime, get the fuck out my face. What an asshole this guy is. I would vote for a 3rd term before I'd ever hand him the keys to anything more powerful than a riding lawn mower and the Grass Clippings troll.
I can barely wait until this fool and the idiot fools that support him slink off into ignominious historic obscurity.

So..you prefer a Christer war-mongering Wall St whore ...like Rubio?..Jeb?...or Cruz?
what's really got your panties in a wad about Trump?

Sure, he says what a lot of folks are thinking but won't dare say. Right?
And as far as being the lesser of evils, well, he's not Christer, he's not a war-mongering lunatic, and he's not beholden to the Zionist menace. (Got tight panties, wags?)

So, I guess we can put you down for Hillary then?

If it came down to those choices, I'd not vote for the time ever... or if you're counting, since 1980.

I've been hearing dumb shit like that since July. He's not just the frontrunner. He's crushing the entire field.
Trump is the nominee. Deal with it.

I wouldn't be too sure about that either. I think he will destroy Shillary the same way he destroyed Jeb Jeb Binks.

Actually, that scenario would probably ensure her a win.

Here's an idea I would have dismissed out of hand only a couple months ago, but suddenly makes sense for the properly worried Lady Macbeth with a strap-on:
Hillary will choose Sanders for her veep. Yep, she knows that she could easily lose the base support of the progressive electorate--and Bernie has been maintaining and gaining quite well in this solid segment of voters who actually vote. It would be a risk, Bernie being a "socialist" and all--a charge which may as well be a "bolshevik" as far as the GOP and mainstream media is concerned. But if as it appears, Trump (with Halley from S. Carolina) is to be the nominee of the GOP contagion, it may be a risk worth taking--that could win.

Re: Donald Trump is no George Wallace
Can she control Sanders? I would have to think that would be her first criteria. She is a stone cold sociopath with no other agenda beyond accumulating wealth and power. She couldn't care less about a successor and she won't suffer a rival. She's an elderly, pre-dementia drunk and growing more desperate by the hour. Her meltdown could make Jeb Jeb's look dignified by comparison.LTS TRN 2 wrote:Hillary will choose Sanders for her veep.

Re: Donald Trump is no George Wallace
Besides Cheney, there's never been a veep who dared step out of the little box configured by the constitution. All she--and NPR--would worry about is her sudden demise during a satanic mass (featuring a double-headed dildo, several Sapphics, and a Star of David). In short, Bernie would work. He's too old to run after her one-term disaster, and his "socialist" agenda would move at the approximate pace of a glacier--whatever that is.
Also, with whom else could she possibly win?

Re: Donald Trump is no George Wallace
Hillary will pick a spic.
She has the feminazi vote locked up, as well as the hippy leftist vote, so it won't be Bernie or a woman. Her only hope is a huge hispanic turnout which might pull Florida for her.
If it is the Donald, I think he will stomp hillary. Sure, he will lose a few social conservative hillbilles like Wags, but this will be made up for by blue collar types who just want someone with balls who may just pull the chinese cahk out of our collective arse. Also, I think you will find that he will have a surprising level of support amount balck folk. Some of them are finally coming to the realization that the democratic plantation ain't helping them, even when it's massa is one of them. They realize that their only hope is someone that might bring some manufacturing jobs back from China. Also, balck folk tend to like loud braggarts with a strong pimp hand, birds of a feather and all and the D is all of those, on 'roids.

Voters on both sides of the aisle have said they are tired of the career politician. They claim they want change.
Well here it is. We will see if that is just noise.

Why would he need to serve as governor first? Career politicians are the problem. A few elected folks with some business sense might just do us some good.

Yeah. No one in the world of business has ever dealt with politicial situations before.Jsc810 wrote:Would you hire someone with no football experience to be the head coach in the NFL? To put someone with no political experience as POTUS would be just as foolish.
I'm sure you meant politics not in the general sense, but more of the process of making laws. So with that analogy you threw up there, you wouldn't want someone writing laws unless they have been to........
......law school.

Sam, he certainly can win.
Hilary has made too many mistakes that someone like Trump will be all over over and not be PC about it.

If Trump becomes POTUS the U.S. becomes even more of a laughing stock then it already is. Might as well bring a Kardashian in as a running mate to ice the cake when the time comes.

Re: Donald Trump is no George Wallace
It's easy to simply say that, Sam, but kindly explain just how he'll be stopped. If his poll numbers stay up, and if the other three--Jeb, Cruz, and Rubio, continue to appear as toxic as they obviously are--who is going to stop him from easily taking the nomination? Do you suppose there's some back room GOP honchos who can make such a decision?Sudden Sam wrote:He won't be the GOP nominee because he can't possibly win.

If that occurs, then it would remain to be seen. I do feel he would be much better with Foreign Policy than the current administration, but that isn't saying much.Bucmonkey wrote:If Trump becomes POTUS the U.S. becomes even more of a laughing stock then it already is.

But there's already only three of the GOP contagion opposing Trump. Jeb, Cruz, and Rubio. The others don't even exist, though Kasich will insist otherwise.

Why do you put Juan Ellis in that group of contenders?
Currently, it is a 3 way race, Trump, Cruz and Rubio. JEB is history.

Re: Donald Trump is no George Wallace
If Hillary gets the nomination, her best choice would be Sherrod Brown. He's from Ohio and he's attractive to progressives. Next best would be Julian Castro, formerly mayor of San Antonio and now HUD Secretary.

Re: Donald Trump is no George Wallace
Brown should be president, but knowing as much he wouldn't come close to the utterly unelectable Hillary. Or as Mick Jagger once said of Maggie Trudeau, "I wouldn't touch her with a barge pole." Julian Castro would seem a possible veep, but for the "Castro" name--the dictator, not the Cleveland kidnap multi-rapist bass player..
