Ugly fukking game.

That they are and if Donks win this game that'll be the reason why... except for Aquib Talib being such a cheap shot late hit bitch, no surprise he was a Jayhawk.

Still, it's up for grabs and ugly is in the eye of the beholder. Entertaining game imo.

Entertaining, but ugly. I expect a wild second half. If this was the Peyton of 10 years ago, the game would be over. He just flat out can't throw anymore. Sad.

Well, that was a typically boring half time show. Almost got interesting with a little booty shaking, but they got over it quickly enough.

Time to get the show back on the road.

BTW, did anybody else think the refs fukked the Panthers on that first challenge? That was a catch. It led to the donks fumble recovery TD, which is likely the only time the donks will see the endzone thanks to Peyton throwing the ball you'd expect some fag named Peyton would. Has there ever been a gayer name in the NFL than Peyton?

Nice catch, but that dude left 7 or 8 yards on the table running out of bounds.

Could that be called an incomplete pass?

Close.

Pretty much what Brady got away with that time against the raiduhs.

Didn't they change the rule as a result, though?

Nice job fukking the Panthers there, refs. Definite interference.

Nice of you to point that out. However, it wouldn't be below your dignity to spread your fat pasty white ass cheeks to let Vonn Miller give you a ready mix of instant AIDS juice up your ass for a $10 pack of quarters for the laundry machine.

You knew some idiot(s) would make a commercial or two with animals and they did. The best thing is I went outside for the half hour or so during the halftime show. When I returned it was still going and saw that it still had a few minutes left and I kept it on silent to ignore. Recycled never has-beens for a corporate gig is what apparently happened. I'm guessing next year they will get Billy Squire or Foreigner since some old white person will be in the Oval Office.

It was telling to see Cam Newton play with no energy and he didn't go after a fumble when there was a chance. His heart wasn't in it. That's fine with me since I don't have to see the current fraud in office invite him over for a game of golf on our "dime" (tens of thousands).

The Donks did the smart thing by running out the clock the second half because they had Carolina figured out. Boring? Yes. They knew how to best win the game by not screwing up by controlling the ball. Peyton better retire because his defense won the game and he is done.

It was part Donkey D, part Panthers shooting themselves in the foot. Cam's receivers need to catch the fukking ball. That last back breaking INT wasn't on Cam. He threw a perfect bullet....right through his receivers arms. If he catches that ball, they are knocking on the door for a go ahead TD.

You have to feel bad for the Carolina D. They played just as good as the Donkey D did. Trouble is, they didn't get any help.

It was an ugly train wreck of a stupor bowl, but, it wasn't boring, till the last 3 minutes.

There is one other thing that puzzled me. That little delayed hand off thing they tried roughly 138 times. Yeah, you prolly should have stopped trying that after it got stuffed the first few dozen times. I think it worked one time for about 11 yards. EVERY other time it resulted in no gain or a 2 yard loss.

So what is the Vegas line on Peyton suiting up again?

I am not sure he is convinced that there is nothing left in the tank. I wonder if he thinks, yeah, I won another ring, but I sucked it up out there and I don't want to go out that way.

He wouldn't be the first to fall for this. Will the Donks give him the opportunity? I kinda doubt it. With that D, a reasonably good QB would make them tough to beat. Peyton does not make the "reasonably good" measure at the moment. Maybe some HGH errrrr I mean off season time to heal might change that, but, I doubt it.

Watching him out there reminded me of watching Willie drop fly balls in the '73 WS.

I was surprised that butchered bitch could even move her mouth. She looked like she needed to get back to her singing gig at Chuck E Cheese.

I thought Phil Simms was going to win "worst botox job" for the evening, then Ms. Bowlen hit the stage.

I think he hangs em up. He's got nothing left to prove. 2 rings, five time league MVP, 7 time 1st team all pro, most passing TDs, most passing yards...1st ballot hall of fame in five years.

not to mention, no arm left.....the Denver D was just as advertised, dominant from the outset...
Von Miller has got to be one of the quickest LB's I've ever seen....

How deep did you get into the 30 pack last night? We should've taken prop bets.

Last I checked the Vegas line, the over under was 8 into the second 30.

Disagree. This is a sporting event not a concert despite the NFL's efforts. You sing the anthem as written so the fans and players can sing along if they so choose. You also don't take more than two minutes.

Every time I see someone make a concert out of the SSB I think back to George Strait singing it. No stage, no costume, no props, just a mic from the 40 yard line.

Then again the Super Bowl really isn't about football anymore. Now it is an event.

So you're an originalist. Nothing wrong with that - Scalia would be proud.

Nothing wrong with putting some feeling into the song but I agree that a lot of singers go way overboard. At least Lady Gaga didn't tart it up as much as a lot of singers do these days.

What do you think about treating America the Beautiful as some sort of alternate National Anthem at sporting events?
Personally, I think America is beautiful, but I sure get tired of hearing that song. Especially when they should be singing Take Me Out to the Ball Game.

pretty tough to have a good game when the defense is giving you about 3 seconds to get rid of the ball.....Newton just didn't have time to do anything....
I still find it amazing that Phillips was unemployed last year.....

that may be one of the best defenses I've ever seen....definitely the fastest

and no, I'm not just being a homer....

Thankfully I don't find myself at many events where they sing it. Perfectly nice song and ad lib all you want on that one. But at most of the football games I attend they play America the Beautiful before I am on the field. And I am far more likely to hear O'Canada at hockey games.

I loved this game. Denver's defense beat the shit out of Cam Newton for 60 minutes to the point where, when he heard a Broncos player describing how they fucked his shit up, he cracked and ran from his press conference. Seriously, that was beyond any hope I had for this game.
