John McCain hates the Air Force

It's completely obvious now. The man is consumed with hatred for the Air Force and anything and everything the service supports. Service officials could show up draped in the American flag singing about baseball, apple pies, Chevrolet and bombing ragheads and he would call them pieces of shit. He shows up to berate lower ranking acquisition officials yesterday during a Senate panel to basically repeat his berating of the secretary and chief of Thursday.
He froths at the mouth over the new bomber, posturing for taxpayers and cameras, accusing these government servants of "not serving the taxpayer." The same guy who is hellbent on "not serving the taxpayer" by eliminating competition for launches, even though Congress made a policy decision 20 years ago to have the Air Force use the RD-180 to keep the engine and Russian scientists away from hostile nations.
McCain is hellbent on banning the RD-180, all while taking donations from SpaceX for his "McCain Institute," a guffaw if I've ever heard one. McCain is clearly making a spectacle of himself, all because Richard Shelby bent him over during appropriations season.
And I have news for the dear senator, he's not going to get his full ban on the RD-180 this authorization season.
