I was in Fatison, Wisconsin early last week, and figured I'd post my review. Sorry, no pics.

- Lots of hot chicks moseying around the city. This is to be expected in a major college town. I was impressed.
- Saw about 5 black dudes which was 5 more than I expected.
- These 5 black dudes were not bukkake'ing a middle-aged white man. In other words, I didn't run into Pickle.
- Camp Randall looks like a shit hole.
- There's a couple of cute little lakes on either side of the city. All in all, I see the appeal of Madison and look forward to getting over there for a college football game one of these years.

What Hotel did you stay at? Downtown near the capital is the place to be.

Early last week? A lot of students were gonzo by then. You should have said something. I would have met up for a beer.

Camp Randall is awesome. Period.

The city sits between two lakes. One is about 9,000 acres, the other almost 3,500. They're plenty lage enough when you're driving around one of them to get to the other side of town.

Did you see any photos of their latest hockey savior Tony Granato around campus? What about hockey imagery in general? Or are they embarrassed of their relegation behind Kalamazoo Tech in national relevance?

True but it was a nice day so a lot of people were out and about. Lots of bicyclists, which I guess helps put at least a tiny dent in the obesity figures.

I've been there twice for OSU-UW football games, in 2000 and 2003.

Lee Evans kinda spoiled that second trip but nonetheless, seeing a game at Camp Randall is a must if you're a true CFB fan. Madtown is a cool college town, lots of good scenery and seemed like a huge selection of bars when I was there. Some good cheese & beer at 'dem tailgates, too.
