In all seriousness, I've wondered who Allstate was pitching this commercial to? I can't imagine that the female BLM demographic is large or wealthy enough to earn their own separate commercial spot. I ran across a website that was saying some stuff about how the woman, Leslie Jones, was defying all sorts of conventions in this ad to the empowerment of balck women everywhere, but it sure seemed like the author was digging pretty deep to justify her comments.
