Here's hoping it was zero dogs. From what I understand/was told it is mostly the older generation that ate dog. I did have one old guy tell me not to worry though as they only ate the large ones over say 25 kg, not the small ones we Americans keep as pets. I politely let him know that both of our pets at home were well over 25kg and he look shocked. Guess there is always a chance but we only ate street food in Vietnam and Thailand.
As for being a "fat fuck", whatever. I know that I am more active than 90% of this board so it's all good.
Good find Diego, I was sure that pic would lead to a few laffs.
One funny work story from this trip involved the first few flights before we had a company card for the group we were working for. I thought I would just use my credit card for ramp fees and fuel and then submit that for reimbursement. Our contact there though said that could take up to 90 days for reimbursement. Screw that. So our contact got us cash to pay the ramp and fuel and catering. In Vietnam the conversion is 1,000,000 is about $45. Our fuel bill and ramp fees were over $10K. $225,000,000 Dong later we were on our way. They quickly decided they would reimburse me weekly if I would put the fees on my credit card.

Summer in Asia seems like a great idea.

That being said, wasn't there just a tiny part of you that wanted to fly directly into:
Might have been slightly bumpy, but it would have been worth a good story. :)
Actually we were given clearance to deviate around the storms as necessary. So we were having fun throwing the plane around like it was a slalom course.
One thing that was taught early on was you don't fly into a thunderstorm when you don't have to.

One question, why didn't you just ride the mopeds yourself?
You have to have a Vietnamese license to drive them. We could have gone to a class and spent most of the day there. Instead we decided to hire a guide and two drivers to show us the highlights of Saigon. Plus the traffic in Asia tends not to play by the rules so it can be tough to understand at first.

If you don't know what you are doing, driving a mope in Vietnam is the same as signing your own death sentence. Rent a car? The mopeds rule the roads making it extremely chaotic. You'd have to be nuts to drive for the first time in a city of any size, let alone Ho Chi Min city.

A lot of people don't know this, but the reason the Phillipines have the cutest women is because way back during the Spanish Armada all the EUROPEAN SPANISH sailors bred out the Asian gene. Phillipino chicks are half Asian half European. Sexiest Asian chicks by far.

Hey, dumbfuck, the Spanish Armada was not a time period.
It would be like saying "during the 5th Battalion". Though in your case, it would be "doing the 5th Battalion".

A-
Sorry, the best I can do for a PET without any decent shots of Mrs Lefty's dumper. I wonder how far over the GVW that moped was with your fatass on it.

During a couple of those pics I was humming "Ride of the Valkyries" in my head picturing a pair of rockets launching at the gooks. As for riding a scooter in Vietnamese traffic, you saw the XO sticker on the helmet, right? That stands for kissing your life goodbye as everybody but you ignores the traffic laws.
Excellent, PET, LS.

It was also destroyed in the English Channel which really isn't very close to the Philippines.

That's because the Spanish Armadans used up all their strength impregnating those Asian Philippine women.

Spanish Armada...Spanish Navy......No difference.
The fact remains that nearly everyone in the Phillipines has a Spanish surname....hence they are part Spanish....hence they are better looking than just plain Asians.

I guess that makes you part cucumber. Better looking than a russet potato but not nearly as beautiful as a japanese eggplant.
