It does, kinda. Just finished reading about the
Essex whaleship that was wrecked by a giant sperm whale in 1820. The shit those guys had to endure is incomprehensible, but nothing quite like suffering admin injustices on an internet message board.

I read about the Essex years back. Deciding which one of your crew to eat is pretty much as desperate as it gets.
