A toast to John L. Lewis
That life should be enjoyed, not just endured;
that work should be rewarded properly;
that the dignity of men and women
should be paramount in the creation of
a nation's wealth;
that the many are not herded, but gain
power in their gathered strength,
this was the mission and legacy of
that great man, and an inspiration for us now. Cheers!
(As for the spineless punk who
trotted the celebration of the Sewer Spoor of Calcutta being made a "saint," ...
)

Literally doing nothing would have been an improvement over the suffering that Mother Teresa brought to the unfortunates in her care.

Fuck Mother Teresa, a total fraud. At issue is the legacy of the great John L. Lewis, who actually helped millions of Americans actually live a decent life.
