Observations:

I think Stanford is better than what we saw Friday night.

Colorado is not to be messed with this year.

Ohio State is better than Bama.

Although exciting, last night's feature game was chalk full of mistakes. Desaun Watson is not an accurate passer. Also, there was a lot of jerseys being pulled on wide receivers. Refs were either completely blind our they were letting them play.

Tennessee and North Carolina - thank you for making college football insane.

I don't think Stanford, with David Shaw calling the shots, is capable of producing an undefeated season.

He keeps everybody on an ultra-tight leash when the season begins, I guess playing "not to lose" or something, until they lose a game. He never opens up until the first loss and any hope of an NC is off the table. Last year it happened in the first game. This year they got to game four before it caught up with them. I won't be surprised to see them average 40+ points for the rest of the season.
