They also think that footing the bill for the health care and education for anyone who cares to come to this country on a whim is good economic policy. They also think that healthy young people owe them, and should pay their hospital bills. They also think that if we take everyone's money, the atmosphere will cool down, and unicorns will become un-extinct. They're obsessed with the First Amendment, but could care less about the Second and Fourth, and find the Tenth downright laughable. They believe election rules should be changed after the fact (once again ignoring the Constitution that they cite whenever it's convenient) if their preferred candidate doesn't win. Basically, what Dins is saying is that the old lefties wanted to make America "progressive" but they wanted to do it with Americans and they weren't suicidal. Eventually, they came to the conclusion that normal old "Americans" aka western euro palefaces, weren't buying it in sufficient numbers, so they figured that if they could just stuff the place with enough brown folks, who will vote 80% with them, they'll eventually win the numbers game. They also figured out that running one of those brown folks, so long as he was nice and clean would get them in as he would get enough of "his people" off the couch. Where they fukked up is they didn't get another squeaky clean brown guy up and throwing in the bullpen during the middle innings, so they had to trot out the most flawed candidate in the history of presidential nominations.

The problem they have now is, unlike past alt-righties, this dude actually knows how to speak to the brown folks because he, for his entire life, has been in the job of dealing with people of all hues. I suspect you will see him work deals with the auto factories to come back to the rust belt. He will sit the UAW down and tell them it won't be like the good old days. So they guy was released without any charges presumably because he's claiming "self-defense."

The man who shot and killed former NFL player Joe McKnight was released without charges hours later.

Ronald Gasser, who was taken into custody after shooting McKnight, has been released, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed.

Police said Gasser and McKnight exchanged words in a traffic incident in a New Orleans suburb. Gasser reportedly remained at the scene and handed his gun over to police voluntarily. Although he hasn’t spoken publicly, he is presumably claiming he shot McKnight in self-defense.

According to police, McKnight did not have a gun either on his body or in his car.

In the near future, the feds will be releasing the results of their investigation in the Alton Sterling shooting. I have no inside info, but I very much expect that the feds will say that it was a justifiable police shooting. Don't reach for the pistol in your pocket when you are being arrested.

Assuming the feds reach that conclusion, there will be people around here who will not be happy. Surely there will be more protests, but hopefully no riots.
