Here's a guy who (seriously) thought, before he was recently informed differently, that the main job of the DOE was to promote the American oil and gas industries.
So Trump (who probably thinks the same thing) is putting a guy who majored in Animal Science and Yell Leading in charge of the world's largest nuclear arsenal.
We are well and truly fucked.

Wrong. The DoE is getting broken up. The nukes will go to Defense where they belong.

If that's true, then not so bad. He can be in charge of converting cow flatulence into renewable fuel.

We need fewer government departments. So what better appointment than someone who wants to do away with it.

Most of the departments are illegal in the first place. Most of what they do violates the Commerce clause. I wonder what Herr Drump is going to do about that. If he even knows what the Commerce clause is.

I'm with Papa W. We lived through 8 years of having a rabble rouser community organizer as POTUS. I'm sure Rick will not fail us.

That's nice. Most of us aren't law students. Break it down why they're illegal, you two, and how they can be legally disbanded?

That's the one that says if some one farts in Montana, they
might need to buy a can of air freshener that's made in Florida, therefore the national government can regulate farting, right?
Or was that Gonzales v Raich?

It's called basic reading comprehension. The Constitution is pretty fukking clear. The fact that we've completely ignored it for a century plus, doesn't change things.
I know reading the whole thing is a chore. Try just the 10th Amendment.

Here ya go. I realize that you, like I, don't have a law degree, but I muddled through it anyway.

Seems pretty clear to me.
