He said that the security detail with their tiny little handguns were defenseless against the attacker with his big black cock assault rifle.

What a fukking maroon. Give me a matchup of fukking idiot with an AK vs a well trained dude with a 9 mm and I will put my money on well trained dude with the pea-shooter any day. Even more so when there are multiple good guys.

There aren't many details yet other than Steve Scalise was hit. Too bad they didn't get Eddie Munster instead.

Kind of surprised that this sort of thing hasn't happened before. Just heard that Scalise's injury isn't life threatening. Hopefully they smoked the shitbag, despite his overwhelming firepower superiority.

BTW, the prompter reading monkeys keep calling it baseball practice. I wonder if that is accurate? I would think that it is softball, but I wouldn't expect those clowns to know the difference.

CNN is also reporting it as baseball practice for the congressional baseball team. Guess you're not as smart as a prompter reading monkey.

From what I saw this morning there was little TelePrompTer reading and more extemporaneous speaking required. This was beyond most of their abilities as the uhhhhs and ummmms were out in full force.

Yeah, they are always bending over backwards to try to point out how evil an "assault rifle" is. Good job by Rand Paul pointing out that they were damn lucky there was a good guy or two with a gun around. Without them, this would have been a massacre. I suspect that future practices will be moved to a more secure place. There are plenty military bases in the area with ball fields.

They were good guys with guns. That is all that matters. Unfortunately, 99.99999% of the population does not have trained, armed personnel to follow them around. This is part of the reason some old white dudes made it clear that we had the right to self protection. And assholes that want to curtail that right, many of which are in that .000001 percent, deserve to be shot in the fukking head.

Including the VA governor who couldn't make it thru the first presser on the shooting without going to the gun control mantra. Dude the. Said multiple times that 93 million Americans a day die from gun violence. Took repeated follow up questions before he backed off the 93 million a day number.

Should take less than four days to wipe out the entire population.

Even less if they only shoot Republicans.

I heard that same point made earlier and I did smile. Not at the political leanings but that the terrorist is the only one to die.

It also reinforces the fact we have a mental health issue in this country.
