How do you convert an ASX file to an MP3?

I've tried a few of the programs that convert file types, but can't quite figure it out. Any suggestions?

Did you actually buy a converter or did you just download a shareware version? Which programs did you try. There are a lot of converters out there but they tend to cost a little money.
