You music folks might be interested in this Alice Cooper interview about GC.
Glen Campbell was considered one of the top 5 guitar players out there -- both rock and country combined.
Eddie Van Halen wanted a guitar lesson from Glen.
Does AP post here?
Glen was the best amateur golfer from 60 yds in that Alice Cooper ever played with.
A master short game player.
Glen did more cocaine than anybody out there. :)
I wonder if Chuck Norris knows all of these things?

Well Alice would know golf. Along with Kenny G, he's the best musician/golfer by a mile. They're basically scratch. Campbell's guitar playing was impressive in some weird way. Sort of a cross between Les Paul and Roy Clark, with a dash of that faux "Eastern" sound favored by Dick Dale and others. But...I didn't know, and am shocked to be told, that he was a frequent abuser of cocaine. This surely was his undoing, and the fact that he lasted this long is a tribute to his essential strength.

No, asshole, this thread isn't about the insufferable slimefuck known as Alice Cooper, but rather the weird guitar playing of Glen Campbell...there's something really wrong with it, of course..but...

Shocking to see you don't know what you're talking about (along with Tarttard)... just shocking.
Kenny G, until he got old, did play very near scratch.
Alice Cooper has a lifetime best of over 5. Pretty close to Justin Timberlake. Campbell once got down to about 3.
One of these things is not like the others... Kenny G has won multiple celebrity tournies... that's a big "NO" on the others.

What, are you desperately stuffing a huge dildo up yer ass? Anything to get a sensation? You tedious fart stain, would you play Alice straight up, $500 per hole?...
would you play Alice straight up, $500 per hole?...
I would pay to see that.

Step on your dick much ???
The Dick Dale sound was so Eastern. Just like all the surf music from California.

Because so few musicians do drugs. Not any of the country musicians, not the grunge crew, nope blow use is rare in the music business.
Are you really that fucking stupid? No answer required.

By "Eastern" we mean the modal approach of Greco-Mediterranean melodies used in "surf" music, a neat trick to avoid connection with "blues," while still using the back beat. Dick was from Boston, btw. As for my shock of Glenn's coke, yer late to the joke.

Dick was from Boston, but I believe his family was Lebanese or maybe turkish and he got this Eastern influence from them.
Anyhoo, Dins was pointing out that a 5 handicap, while a pretty good golfer, is not a scratch golfer.

And scratch means you "might" be able to hang in a mini Tour event.

Steph Curry is a 2.something, and he just made a fool out of himself in a Web.com event.

I knew some good golfers, 2's and so and you don't get that way with a natural swing. These guys were rich mother fuckers who could spend a lot of time on the course and played a lot of tournaments and a lot of high rolling with their buddies. One even had us build him a 3 hole course at his house with 2 practice putting greens Dins might recognize the name Maletis locally here. But like everybody else your A game only lasts so long.

I'm talking a few steps down below the web.com tour. There are a bunch of web.com guys who could win on Tour right now.
