Going into the week two matchup with OU, I would have preferred this type of game over a home cupcake to start off.

Basically, a weird in-conference road opener on a Thursday night against a team whose most notable strength (passing offense) exploited Ohio State's most glaring weakness (inexperienced pass defense).

Players and coaching staff made some good adjustments in the 2nd half. I still think Mayfield may torch the OSU defense next Saturday but at least the secondary already endured a half of getting toyed with.

Kinda looked like they were having a "Clemson Hangover" in the first half. They just didn't seem very confident. Different team in the 2nd half, though. That, and I get the feeling that Indiana is still improving as well.
I've had some massive hangovers in my time...but eight months?

From what I've gathered, IU's defense is actually supposed to be their "strength" this year. Which just sounds weird to say. Also, I didn't notice that OSU's DBs were getting torched or anything. They appeared to stay with their man, the IU WRs were simply making tough, contested catches. That Cobbs kid is gonna be playing on Sundays.

I tend to agree with you there. IU was just running those quick passing plays, giving the D-line no time to get in the backfield. And yes, IU's WRs are pretty good. As I said, I preferred tOSU get their feet wet in a game like this compared to a thrashing of a bottom-feeder MAC school. IU could very well end up an 8-win team. I probably just jinxed that completely.
