So, bitches... I just went to our favorite sports bar with a bunch of friends. Not sure how we ended up spending 8 hours in front of their fine array of TVs, but it happened (RACK BTPCFB... stories abound, but not of any fuckpigs, unfortunately. But our Ukrainian waitress is a 10).

Seer brought up Texas having no D. Can't disagree. But the Huskers' D was a hot mess. Fucking awful. I'm feeling quite good about next week's tilt. The Newberg/Corvallis boy is going to show up in Eugene sporting that for a defense? Lambs to the slaughter. Red's offense looked pretty good (unusual for a Riley team in the early games -- he was known for making shit too complicated), but the D was horrific. Oregon's offense was straight awesome (lost in last year's 4-8 season was that O scored over 40 a game), and the defense didn't totally suck (Troy Dye had a little help, but the D wasn't great). But if you bring weak-sauce defense into Eugene... you lose. Period. I'm quite confident on this one, unless Riley recruits new guys this week. Bet the over (probably 250.5).

Bama was... Bama. Shitty offense, and it didn't matter. Yet Bamafan thinks Hurt is good... ponderous. That defensive tackle dude (forget his name, wears #99) is ridiculous. He weighs like 420, and runs a 4.3. At the bar, jokes abounded about Jimbo's game plan. "Run it up the gut, bro!!!!"... and they did... a lot.

Florida was laughable.
