They're valedictorians and rocket surgeons and shit. We will likely plunge into a depression without them.....but it's the right thing to do.
Most dreamers probably are good people, and I think our country benefits from them. The question isn't whether they're good people. The question is whether we want to hold firm and maintain orderly immigration and have all newcomers to this country follow the laws we have in place. We let one million immigrants into our country each year legally. It doesn't seem to me like the immigration laws we have in place are especially unfair. Immigrants and their children should respect our laws if they plan on living here. It is not asking too much of them. From my experience, that's true.
