5 games is a good sample size for a first ranking...
1. Alabama...Florida State win looking less impressive but I haven't seen a better team yet.
2. Clemson...conversely, win over Auburn looking more and more impressive.
3. Georgia...tough games still ahead but I've been pleasantly surprised.
4. Penn State...showdown against Michigan lost some steam but still eager to see their offense against the Wolverine defense.
5. Washington State...back-to-back wins over USC and at Oregon (granted, without their starting QB)...I'm buying in.
6. Washington...good team so far but the second half of the season will give us a better idea of how good they really are.
7. Auburn...best one-loss team I've seen; let's just get to the Iron Bowl already.
8. TCU...team to beat in the Big XII as far as I'm concerned.
9. Wisconsin...could very well run the table but their schedule won't turn heads.
10. Miami...gutted out a rivalry win on the road; fun game to watch.
