I am sure this goes on all the time on both sides of the aisle. The part that seems most likely to bring him down is agreeing to pay the staffer for work that didn't happen which is against the rules. Dude will prolly offer to pay the funds back himself.

Bottom line, anyone who has done a bit of harassing and carries any public positon or has any sort of publicity should be very worried right about now.

Sadly, short of a real revolution, term limits to the house and senate are not likely to happen. A most disappointing time was when the 1992 Republican sweep with the Contract With America, Newt Gingrich and all, one of the features was term limits. Needless to say, it wasn't long before it was "What term limits?" The swamp eats those people with all it's perks and chances for enriching themselves.
