Poster of the Year

1. Shlomart Ben Yisrael - There are other creative posters who lurk, but of those who post regularly, Marty is tops.
2. Screw_MIchigan - He's too partisan and I don't agree with him many times, but he posts regularly and gives the place some energy. We'd be worse without him.
3. MgoBlue-LightSpecial - Does not post enough, but when he does it tends to be light and humorous. Avoids partisan hackery. We need more light & humorous.

Marty definitely belongs. Makes me laugh more often than anyone else here. Part of that is his sharp wit, part is likely that he isn't gainfully employed. Whatever the reason, I don't really care.
Screw-meh. He sucks, but not badly enough to warrant special status like TiVo does.
Mgooo- You are right that he doesn't generally do much to state a political point of view, but when he chimes in to criticize others' views, it tends to be against the board right wing neanderthals. From that I gather that he's firmly on the commie side, just not far enough to make himself look too bad as some of the board lefties do.
My list is 88, Marty and Smackie Chan.
88 is the smartest mofo here. Marty is funniest and Smackie gets in as he is one of the true voices of reason here and he puts on the best fukking T!1B radio show, evah. Not that that is much of a bar to meet.

Thanks pop, but if I'm top 3 that doesn't say much for the rest of these schlubs, cuz quite frankly, I've been totally mailing it in the last year or so.

I think 88 is fantastic.
He makes the entire board much better and we should thank God that we have him speaking on behalf of and fighting every day for the forgotten men and women of T1B. Because of his determination, because of his leadership, the forgotten men and women of T1B are forgotten no more.

Appreciate the sentiment, but given the thread's title, I wouldn't include myself in the top 50 based on a) I seldom post
anything, b) I hardly ever bring the funnay; not that I can't, I just...ok, I can't, and c) I just about never run smack. Other than that, yeah, solid jungle dweller.
Can't argue with Marty or 88 being on anyone's list, though for totally different reasons as you mentioned. Notwithstanding his modesty, Dinsdale also ranks high on my list. I don't always agree with 88 (or anyone else, for that matter), but he at least usually backs up his takes with a semblance of reason and research, and has a pretty solid command of our language. Marty is more creative than any other poster, and his humor hits the mark far more often than not. And Dinsyclopedia is almost always a good read.
Others worthy of mention are Mgo, although as he conceded, he hasn't put in the effort this year as in years past; Goob's posts are almost always worth reading; and you, 'holic, at least help keep this place afloat through sheer volume. Moving Sale, Screwey, and schmick offer themselves up as sacrificial lambs, although probably not intentionally, which helps contribute to the board's entertainment value. It's too bad mvscal doesn't post here much anymore; his posts are usually money. Softball Bat gets my vote for Comeback Player of the Year, and War Wagon should always be remembered.
If I make any notable contribution to this shithole, it's through TuneTown. Thanks go out to mamamustanger, Wolfman, smackaholic, 88, Dinsdale, Derron, Papa Willie, Jay in Phoenix, Vlad Erth, BSmack, JHawkBCD, Softball Bat, Sudden Sam, Screw_Michigan, trev, Molly, and Dr. Phibes (another quality read) for being regular or occasional TuneTownians. Having you drop by makes it worth doing.
To all those I've mentioned, and to those I've overlooked, Merry Christmas!

Yellowpedokkkal was, like 88pedos, a stupid smug POS who was only good at toeing the party line. You guys (?) only like them cause they make you feel good, because you usually agree with their racist, greedy, wacko BS.

I can't speak for others, but my inclusion of both of them had nothing to do with agreeing with their political or social stances. While I don't engage in political discourse much anymore (mostly because it's tedious, time consuming, and played out), I don't believe anyone who read my posts when I did offer political takes would characterize them as right-leaning. I just find those two and others, including you at times, to be entertaining and interesting even if I don't agree with them. The fact that I included Mgo and Goobs, neither of whom subscribe to 88's or mvscal's POVs, should serve as evidence that political affiliation didn't factor into my list.

If the Board Bitch contest is brought back, you would take that prize without a single vote going to

And I doubt it's much of a contest for Board Bitch. Fail had it sewn up by January 3rd.

My vote goes to smachaholic. Why? Because unlike everybody else— including me —he is able to admit when he is wrong or in error. That alone is notable. However, I find him humorous as well, not that any of the others aren’t, with the exception of Moving Sale who is just plain tedious.

Funny stuff.
The "why" would be, in no
small part due to your stunning lack of self-awareness, which you demonstrate every time you post.

Ya gotta hand it to MS.
He's lapped the field multiple times in the Board Bitch 500 and he's still pouring on the steam, setting record lap times, right to the end.
Have you ever went to the supermarket for more than beer and doritos? Some of us do. In fact, would you believe that sometimes normal folks will get too many items to go through the express line where we all conveniently forget how to count past 12.
I'll bet you go with a normal sized person and ride in the cart seat, don't you? Maybe if you're lucky, get one of those shopping carts with the built in little tykes car.
