Hopefully Brian Kelly does a better job managing choo-choo trains than he did coaching Notre Dame.
I think the train is a good idea, but I also think, and god help me for this, that shim is right that they should have started out with a bullet to vegas first.schmick wrote:Nobody in California wants this. This is purely Frisco libs screwing everyone else.
Even the libs in So Cal don't want this, a bullet train from LA to Vegas they might support but nobody wants this train
I lived there for five years. I think a bullet to the head of Vegas would be more appropriate.Moving Sale wrote:I think the train is a good idea, but I also think, and god help me for this, that shim is right that they should have started out with a bullet to vegas first.schmick wrote:Nobody in California wants this. People who don't fly a lot for one.Left Seater wrote:Who arrives 90 minutes before a flight other than retired 80 year olds?
I guess. Someone needs to pay the rent for all of those airport shops and concessions.BSmack wrote:People who don't fly a lot for one.Left Seater wrote:Who arrives 90 minutes before a flight other than retired 80 year olds?
Sort of depends on when you're flying (how crowded is the security line) and whether or not you have TSA Pre-Check. Wouldn't want to get stuck waiting for your cavity search when the doors close.Joe in PB wrote:I'd say arrive 30-40 minutes before boarding begins. Often the door is closed 10-15 minutes before departure.

I like getting my cavity search as early and often as possible. No gloves, please.Mikey wrote:Wouldn't want to get stuck waiting for your cavity search when the doors close.
Don't you have more DACA man seed to slurp in the name of non-racist America?Screw_Michigan wrote:I like getting my cavity search as early and often as possible. No gloves, please.Mikey wrote:Wouldn't want to get stuck waiting for your cavity search when the doors close.

Wrong. Smart people set up a Delta Frequent Flier account then get a Clear account which lets them cut both the regular line and/or the TSA PreCheck line. Not checking bags at LAX on can arrive 35 mins before boarding unless you have to go to a remote gate or are flying international.schmick wrote:People who have to wait in the tsa lines at LAXLeft Seater wrote:Who arrives 90 minutes before a flight other than retired 80 year olds?
I think someone already tried that once.Mikey wrote:I think a bullet to the head of Vegas would be more appropriate.
