Nassar abuse survivor Olivia Cowan did not parse words when she confronted MSU and USA Gymnastics: "I want MSU and USAG to know what they have done is on the very same level of accountability as the crime Nassar has committed."

There were far fewer victims in the PSU case.

And because of that the civil award will be all that much larger. I've heard it could top $1B.

Sorry Tubby, this is my first visit to the board today as I have a life outside of this shithole. What do you want me to say? It's obviously a terrible situation all around. Dude has been up to this since as early as 1997, probing girls as young as 6. And not all of them gymnasts, some of them who testified were not even athletes. And one of the gymnasts disclosed that he had performed one of his treatments on her younger brother at one point.

^This woman's testimony was probably the most powerful, as she has been fighting most of her life to get people to believe hers and other girls' cases of abuse at the hands of Nassar. She is now an attorney, married with kids.

Apparently, lots of folks at MSU over the years were notified of this behavior but either turned a blind eye or openly supported the fake doctor. Don't drop the soap.

Meh, literally nothing in that piece is new. All of those incidents have been investigated, reported on, and associated players were penalized or not penalized based on the findings of each case. ESPN is trying to lump football and basketball into the Nassar stuff to make it a more provocative story. But no doubt, the totality of everything looks really bad right now, and I suspect this is all just getting started. It's a good thing I have other hobbies and interests because I may be done with college sports for a while.

Members of the gymnastics team are required to submit to medical examinations performed by US Gymnastics doctors. Nasser was one of them. So if they had balked at going to see him they would have lost all that they had worked for.
