So you are posting from your grave ??Diego in Seattle wrote:Greatest conman dies...BFD.
And for that matter, Mike Pence, and Tom Pruitt for starters. Both Grahams exemplify the very worst of toxic falsity and rigid hypocrisy mixed within a head full of sand.Diego in Seattle wrote:Greatest conman dies...BFD.
Too bad he didn't take his dirtbag son with him too.
Ouch. That deserves a healthy RACK!Goober McTuber wrote:You asked for one good thing he did. I gave it to you.
Look, he was a preacher, and a pretty damn good one, whether or not you buy what he's selling. He was also a man, and as such he made mistakes. Undoubtedly a lot less than you have. Overall, I'd say he was a decent man who had the courage of his convictions, and did what he believed at the time was right.
And without question many more will mourn his passing than will mourn yours. By a factor of about ∞.
Way to go KC, moron.Derron wrote:So you are posting from your grave ??Diego in Seattle wrote:Greatest conman dies...BFD.
Funny that you should call me sheep. A preacher calls his followers his flock. Obviously I'm not falling for their bullshit.Papa Willie wrote:He's busy using his compassionate, open-minded liberal ways. He (like MS) is also a very insecure sheep.Derron wrote:So you are posting from your grave ??Diego in Seattle wrote:Greatest conman dies...BFD.

Shut up you racist, cis-normative, white-male-privileged homophobe!!! When this new memo leaks, Trump is FINISHED!!!  :twisted:Rooster wrote:

Because sheep move in unison and really do not know who the fuck is leading, they just follow the herd because that is the way everybody is going, and they all run off a cliff before any of them are smart enough to think on their own.Diego in Seattle wrote: Funny that you should call me sheep. 'Scuse me, but Graham--and his lunatic son--were carnival barking hucksters, playing on the uneducated, living in mansions as multi-millionaires (paying zero taxes) while promoting some sort of pie in the sky scam that supposedly suggested that "blessed are the meek" or whatever, while all the while being a Christian Zionist and supporting the vile crime state of the Irgun Gang (Likud). He was an absolute hypocrite of the highest order, and his one moment of honesty came when he warned Nixon of the media control of the Jews.Rooster wrote:There is a surprising (at least to me) amount of vitriol and anger on this board against a man who lived a life consistent with his beliefs, confessed his faults openly, was humble, and genuinely desirous that people should gain the same sense of peace about their eternal future as he had about his.

Long-time TIME contributors Nancy Gibbs and Michael Duffy, co-authors of The Preacher and the Presidents: Billy Graham in the White House, say that Graham regularly insisted that his crusades be audited and made public to avoid any hint of scandal, and that Graham could have easily made far more money if he wanted. “He was turning down million-dollar television and Hollywood offers half a century ago,” Gibbs and Duffy wrote in TIME in 2007. “He never built the Church of Billy Graham, and while he lived comfortably, his house is a modest place. If he had wanted to get rich, he could have been many, many times over.”
Grant Wacker, a professor at the Duke University Divinity School and author of America’s Pastor: Billy Graham and the Shaping of a Nation, also says that Graham has led an exemplary life free of financial scandal. “People who didn’t like Billy Graham spent a lot of time trying to find personal violations of his moral and ethical code, and they couldn’t,” Wacker told NPR after Graham’s passing. “They didn’t exist. He was a man who maintained absolute marital fidelity and moral and financial integrity. He was an evangelist who lived the way he preached.”
STFU you lying POS. As for Goobs take, just because he was better than some preachers doesn't mean he wasn't a POS. He preached intolerance his whole life for that alone he should rot in hell.Jay in Phoenix wrote:Goober McTuber wrote:You asked for one good thing he did. I gave it to you.
Ouch. That deserves a healthy RACK!
Outstanding Goober.
He preached what he believed to be the truth, what he perceived as the word of God. If he happens to be right, he's not the one who will rot in hell. In that case, give my best to Lucifer.Moving Sale wrote:STFU you lying POS. As for Goobs take, just because he was better than some preachers doesn't mean he wasn't a POS. The Board Bitch is just another example of the liberal mindset. They preach acceptance and understanding and individuality and tolerance. That is just noise though as they don’t extend those same courtesies to other who disagree with them. More do what I say, not what I do.Goober McTuber wrote:He preached what he believed to be the truth, what he perceived as the word of God. And if you were not an idiot you might not sound so stupid all the time.Goober McTuber wrote: He preached what he believed to be the truth, what he perceived as the word of God. If he happens to be right, he's not the one who will rot in hell. In that case, give my best to Lucifer.
If you weren't such a total little board bitch, maybe you wouldn't continually get your ass handed to you. Even by idiots.Moving Sale wrote:And if you were not an idiot you might not sound so stupid all the time.Goober McTuber wrote: He preached what he believed to be the truth, what he perceived as the word of God. When have I ever preached acceptance of the unacceptable. Or tolerance of the intolerable? Try not putting words in my mouth tard.Left Seater wrote:

Ah yes the popularity contest meme. There was no doubt your dumb ass was going to latch onto that at somepoint. How is 3rd grade treating you?Goober McTuber wrote: If you weren't such a total little board bitch, maybe you wouldn't continually get your ass handed to you. Even by idiots.
Popularity, or lack thereof, has nothing to do with it, bitch.Moving Sale wrote:Ah yes the popularity contest meme.Goober McTuber wrote: If you weren't such a total little board bitch, maybe you wouldn't continually get your ass handed to you. Even by idiots.
How about numerous times?Moving Sale wrote:As for your take (and I use that term liberally) go ahead and name one time I had my ass handed to me, whatever that means.
I already did. 4 posts up. You're really bad at this.Moving Sale wrote:If it happens so often you should be able to back that claim up. WTF are you waiting for?
