Less than half of the regular cast members are left; Hawkeye, BJ, Radar, Hot Lips, & Klinger are all that are still above ground. Col. Blake, Col. Potter, Frank Burns, Trapper John, Father Mulcahey, and now Maj. Winchester are gone.

Donald Sutherland and Elliot Gould are still around.

The Newport (OR) Symphony lost their conductor.

Frank Burns & Col. Flagg were my favorites.

Winchester was the exact opposite. He was actually a better surgeon than Hawkeye and BJ and reminded them on a daily basis which added to the relationship between them all.

It was brilliant.

That show had a knack for replacing irreplaceable characters. They did it with Potter and Winchester.

Just a couple of years ago I was concerned about my memory. UW has a Memory Clinic and my primary care provider referred me there. They did a whole series of tests, took several hours. They told me my memory was very good, excellent. I told them it used to be even better. Mind like a steel trap.
