I dislike much regarding Trump...

but behind the blather of the Mueller investigation has any one noticed that Kim Jong-Un has been less belligerent lately and Xi Jinping is less inclined to have a trade/tariff war? Sure, Trump has pushed constitutional limits to the boundary, but didn't Obama, Bush II, Clinton, or Bush I ... push that boundary. It is time to elect some congressional leaders that are not beholden to the party or special interests, but someone that has the balls/ovaries to do what is right.

1) Pass a balanced budget.
2) Stop the welfare/entitlement state. If you can get off your ass and collect government money you should be required to do something about it - pick up a quota of trash along the freeway/highway as a minimum.
3) Get rid of government unions. Unions were formed to protect workers from unsafe working conditions, most government jobs these days entail pencil pushing bullshit.
4) Take all government pensions and convert them to 401K style plans. Enough of taxpayers funding unsustainable bullshit. If you have a problem than go burn down the politicians house that promised you that lavish government pension. If you haven't noticed these things are bankrupting citiies and soon to be state.
5) Impose term limits on all elected officials, federal and state.
6) LOOK HARD AT THIRD/OFF PARTY CANDIDATES - THIS TWO PARTY SYSTEM IS SNAFU

that and,

a) the planet we live on is pretty much a spheroidal shaped object.
b) why has no one posted the video (video killed the radio star) of the Space-X heavy launch from about 6 weeks-or-so ago?

Out, Cheers, Shaaka

1) Completely agree on the Balanced budget. This should be made mandatory.

2) Somewhat agree. There has to be carve outs for the true disabled, including mental issues. Second we do need some kind of safety net, but not one into perpetuity. The current work requirements should be expanded for each year of continued benefits for able bodied. Plus it should also include substance abuse treatment.

3) Hopefully the SCOTUS will take care of this later this term. But agree there shouldn’t be much in the way of government unions.

4) The 401K option should be the only option going forward for new hires. For existing employees under say 10 years of service, they can be converted to a 401K plan but there needs to be a bonus add to the 401K plan. For those with more than 10 years of service or over the age of 50 give them the option to keep the pension or take a 401K plan and make it worthwhile for them to make the change. But if they don’t want to change so be it.

5) Totally agree. If it is good enough for the office of President then it should be good enough for other elected offices. From dog catcher to judges to Congress, put term limits on them.

6) Ok.
