Since we have been talking TSA...

This sums up the TSA perfectly in my opinion.
NY Giants player A.J. Francis just lost his mother. On his way home from Cali he puts the urn with his mom’s ashes in his checked bag. TSA decides they need to inspect it and open the urn. They then don’t close it properly and mom’s ashes decorate his clothes and the inside of his bag. He tweets about it.

Hey you pieces of shit at @TSA next time you assholes feel the need to go thru my mother’s ashes for no reason, make sure you close it back so her remains aren’t spilled on all my clothes... the least you pieces of garbage can do is your fucking job
The craziest part of this @TSA shit is that I dont even care that they checked it… they were just being cautious, & I can understand that.
But to not ensure that it won’t spill back into my bag after you put it back in is the most asinine & irresponsible shit I have ever seen.
The TSA responds with a non take and non apology.
We're very sorry to hear about this. We understand the emotional stress travelers are under when transporting the remains of a loved one. Our policies and procedures focus on ensuring that all passengers are treated with dignity, respect and courtesy.
The TSA gets slammed and people point out the TSA’s own policy to them and then they respond with this.
Our officers are trained to handle your carry-on and checked property with care. Out of respect for the deceased, under no circumstances should the container be opened. Please accept our apologies and our condolences.
Meanwhile nothing will be done about this and AJ’s mom is still all over his clothes and bag. When he washes his clothes mama is going to go down the drain. AJ can’t sue the TSA either.
It is time for this government jobs program known as the TSA to end.

They’re not supposed to go through a cremation urn under any circumstances. That’s just begging for mischief by either bomb makers or drug smugglers. How about the TSA do their due diligence and properly inspect travelers’ baggage, but ensure that urns are sealed, clothing is refolded, and delicate items protected by other items remain protected.

TSA doesn't give two fukks about drugs.
Publicly stating that an Urn is not to be opened under any circumstances, is yet another bit of evidence that the entire dog and pony show known as the screening process is a joke and easily beaten. Just tell them, it's an Urn.
This is almost as dumb as the liquid ban. You can't have 1 12 ounce bottle of water, but you can't have 6 2 oz bottles.

If you wear this shirt you're asking to be frisked. And if you're asking for it, it is gay.

Yeah, that shirt might as well say "Please fondle my wang."

No, not full of shit, just bad at proof reading.
TSA regs allow one to have a bunch of under 3.5 oz containers of liquid, but not one container larger than 3.5 oz.
Look it up for yourself.
Technically, it is a quart sized clear ziploc bag of <3.5 oz containers.

TSA Precheck doesn’t require the ziploc bag. Since the liquids don’t have to come out of the bag you don’t have to put them in a ziploc. I just leave it all in my shave kit. Of course I still carry a ziploc in case TSA wants to go TSA.

I had Pre-Check on my flight this morning but there was no Pre-Check line. :brad:
At least I didn’t have to take off my shoes and belt and stuff.

This happens a lot and the TSA should be held accountable. Why offer a program that people pay for and then don’t make it available?

I did look it up. That's how I knew you could stuff your Ziploc full of small containers. Learn to use English, please.

yeah, I mean it makes so much more sense to put them in an ornate 10K dollar box to rot for eternity.

The way they do it in New Orleans is worse. I'm totally for cremation. But why keep the ashes?
Sorry you didn't understand my statement.
