Somehow Air Force One Isn’t American Enough for Donald Trump
And he’s insulting Jackie Kennedy while he complains about it.
Air Force One isn’t American enough for Donald Trump. According to Axios, the president wants to give the plane a paint job, ditching the classic light blue, which Trump refers to as a “Jackie Kennedy color.” Trump reportedly wants the new color scheme to be red, white, and blue so that the plane “looks more American.”
Trump has already sat down with Boeing C.E.O. Dennis Muilenburg to discuss the changes, but the potential changeup could cause tension within the Air Force. Axios is reporting that some top officials like the plane’s current color, which goes back 55 years, and don’t want to mess with its iconic appearance.
Trump’s also unhappy with the plane’s amenities and hoping to get a bigger bed on board, something similar to what he has on his own Boeing 757. He may only get to see these changes happen if he’s re-elected, however, since the planes won’t be ready before 2021.
Axios also spoke to historian Michael Beschloss, who found Trump’s ideas outrageous, saying, “Why would anyone want to discard an Air Force One design that evokes more than a half-century of American history?”
He added: “Anyone who doubts how strongly Americans feel about the way Air Force One looks should go to the Reagan Library in California and see how many people go there to look at the plane that Ronald Reagan flew on while he was president.”

The plane doesn’t need a new paint job. Granted it is pretty dated at this point, but it is recognized for what it is.
As for Toby Keith’s Courtesy of the Red Whit and Blue, why not play that on AF1? It is a great song recognizing our military members just after 9/11? The 200 or so veterans on stage with him July 4th (of many different races) enjoyed singing that song with him on stage in Vegas. Add American Soldier and a few Lee Greenwood songs and it is an appropriate playlist for AF1.

Shit Slinging Monkey cannot think of anything better to add to this thread, but he has to ejaculate something, kind of like ankle biting, so he just randomly tosses out this lame ass blast to see if the shit has any consistency to stick to the wall. But not this one, it just slides right off and we can laugh at his pathetic attempt to be noticed once again.
Your Trump takes are getting pretty bad, I recommend that you go to the basement for a while and work on your playbook a bit and come back with something closer to actual smack.
