Difficult to envision this not going sideways since school board elections are on the general election ballot.

This is a good example of the Democratic party doing what they want despite citizens concerns. Obviously they understand that in the next 10 or 20 years Latinos will be the majority in this country and are planning accordingly.

This wasn't much of a concern for me when Trump became President as I though the system worked. Democrats in their zeal to be 180 degrees out from whatever Trump's policy is have decided National immigration laws are not applicable once illegal aliens are in country. A message that is heard loud and clear in Mexico, Central and South America. Its also heard loud and clear in America by concerned middle class citizens who realize the Democratic Party has gone off the rails since Trumps election, and cannot be trusted to run the country or to enforce established laws.

On the other hand California citizens who have purchased "assault rifles" legally had to register them by July 1st, the problem is the states registration server crashed and many were not able to complete the registration in time. Those people are now felons in California, including service members who were over seas. I haven't seen anything yet about enforcement, but this is the Democratic Party, ignore illegal aliens and make law abiding citizens criminals through legislation.

Not sure what that has to do with voter registration.

Its really about the Democratic National Agenda. I would be surprised if illegal alien voter registration doesn't spread like the sanctuary policy has.

The party speaks through their actions. Is there any question the party on a National basis supports illegal alien sanctuary? California was the first, now many towns and states have followed suit. Like I said, I would be surprised if other municipalities don't follow suit on illegal alien voter registration.
